I have had the fortune of receiving a few sample bottles of the Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration SPF 30 and although I cannot review the price, I can review the quality and effectiveness. I love this stuff! When I do run out of samples, I will most likely buy a bottle. It leaves my skin feel smooth and hydrated without any oily feeling residue. -

I received a flyer for The Friendly Thai on my door and decided to give their delivery a try. I called and despite my bad connection, had my order taken patiently by a friendly person. I ordered the "Dinner For 2" which came with Chicken Pad Thai, Red Curry Chicken, 2 Spring rolls, and Steamed rice for $25.99. Delivery was free and although quoted 45 minutes wait time, It was at my door in 30 minutes (I live about 4 km away). The delivery man was super nice and friendly. They allowed me to pay by credit card and there wasn't a fee attached to using the machine. I could smell how wonderful the food was before I opened the bag. I first tried the Red Curry Chicken. It was "slap-yo-momma" good... no joke! Some of the best I have ever eaten and super fresh, too! Next I tried the Spring roll, it was crispy, fresh and delicious. You can tell they change out their oil throughout the day, because the oil was clean tasting. Next I tried some of the Pad Thai (my daughter claimed dibs), and although not the typical orangy-pink color of most other Thai places, the flavors were spot-on. It wasn't overtly sweet either like a lot of other places. It was a perfect blend of flavors. I love this place. I am so glad they left that flyer or I would never have found them. -

Hands-down my favorite soda flavor. It's harder to come by in Canada, but more and more stores are importing it from the states... no more having to drive to Buffalo for my Cherry Coke fix! Yippee!

Amsterdam Brewery Boneshaker Unfiltered India Pale Ale
I'm not usually a fan of IPAs, but this one has a wonderful nutty-hoppy flavor that reminds me of an Amber. Unbelievable that a 6-pack is only $7.99. Worth every penny!

San Pellegrino Limonata
I love Sanpellegrino Limonata mixed into my homemade Sangria and other alcoholic drinks. It's also very refreshing just on its own poured over ice with a sprig of mint or basil. Yum!

PC Smokin' Stampede Beer & Chipotle BBQ Sauce

I was able to sample Revlon ColorSilk Beautiful Color #47 Medium Rich Brown before I bought it. I found the application to be difficult to do on your own with medium-long length hair and the product dripped a lot once applied. However, the results were very good. The color was true to what the box indicated it would be. The grey coverage was above average for home color and there was little-to-no color fade. Despite the messiness, I would buy this product in the future based on color results. -

I was able to try the John Frieda Precision Foam Colour before I bought it. It was extremely easy to apply and the foam kept the colour in place once applied. No dripping, no mess! The results were even and consistent coverage of natural hair and colour-treated hair. The only draw-back was that it wasn't as effective on stubborn greys as it was on the rest of the hair, even when left on the additional time suggested for stubborn greys. I also noticed significant colour fade only 1-2 weeks after coloring. -
