Erborian - Centella Red Serum redness-reducing soothing concentrate

I’ve been using this Centella Red Serum for 3 days now.

I received this product in exchange for my honest and genuine feedback and review.

I’ve only been using this Centella Red Serum for 3 days (the package recommends to use it after 7 days to see visible results), but so far this Serum has helped me with adding hydration, smoothness, and moisture to my skin!

I have dry skin, mostly on my face and eyebrow area just above my eyes, so I’ve been SEARCHING and experimenting with NEW products in hopes to find a solution!

I’m glad that I was sent this Serum as an added step to my daily facial cleaning routine, because it adds a nice hydrated, soft finishing touch to my skin!

This product is made with 2% Korean Centella Asiatica, which is best known for helping to reduce inflammation, produce collagen, and improve skin health! So I’m very glad that Erborian has added this element into this product as I’ve never tried it before. After years of experimenting with skin care products, I think that this secret ingredient may be a solution to my answers!

This Serum makes me feel refreshed and awake for the day! I’ve paired this Centella Red Serum with Erborian USA’s CC Red Correct Cream and I’ve already noticed a significant difference in the red patches on my chin, my cheeks and under my eyebrows!

I noticed that after Day 3 of using both the CC Red Cream + Centella Red Serum, this pair together helps to moisturize the DRY SPOTS under my eyebrows! The flakes have dissolved so well now, that I don’t have to add a Lotion/Cream/Moisturizer after applying to remove the remaining flakes. The Centella Red Serum works as a substitute for eliminating my dry skin rather than a lotion!!

Now, I can use Centella Red Serum to make my skin soft and hydrated!!!

I’m sure removing the added lotion will help to remove noticeable pimples too!

I’m excited to try this and the CC Cream over the next week to see the results!

Erborian - CC Red Correct Green Color-Corrector SPF 25

So I’ve never used an SPF Sunscreen before. I’ve never used a Color-Correcting Cream before. I’ve never used a Redness Correct Skin Cream before. And I’ve never had them all combined into a Broad Spectrum Red Color-Correcting SPF Sunscreen, meant to “neutralize redness, soothe skin, build coverage while evening skin tone” before. But here came, Erborian USA to the rescue!

Made with Centella Asiatica, which is an ingredient best known to help reduce inflammation, produce collagen, and improve skin health, this NEW product may be my go-to to help reduce my redness on my face.

I have dry skin and so I’m very cautious when trying new products on my face. I tried this product over a course of 3 days before reviewing.

During Day 1, I admit that I probably applied WAY TOO much all over my face. I’ve never used this type of product so it was a BIG surprise to me that after applying, the cream wouldn’t wash off!! I mean, I wet my face at least 3-4 times and NOTHING came off. Haha, I started to panic a little bit because I didn’t want to walk out in public with a green/white face lol.

So thankfully I had a towel nearby and I was able to see that it was rubbing off with every wipe. So whew!! That was good news! Haha.

What’s interesting, is that I originally thought that I was getting a Redness Correcting Cream to help with my red patches on my face, but I found out after looking deeper, that this is meant for use as an SPF Sunscreen to help prevent sunburn, with additional benefits such as correcting the redness that comes from being burned by the sun while evening out the skin tone as a result from those burns from the sun.

So that explains why it takes effort in removing as a sunscreen more so than using as a Face Cream. That’s why it dried out my face so much. Haha, I learn something new everyday haha.

I’d say for an SPF Sunscreen, this would be perfect if one were to hop in some water at a pool or even the ocean, because my water was not working and that sunscreen was NOT coming off. I just recommend using a towel if it happens to stick on your face like mine did.

So after I removed it from my face, I did notice that my skin was lighter and it did even out the tone pretty well. So it may be marketed as a CC Red Cream/SPF Sunscreen, but I think it also has some healing benefits for normal red patches as well not caused by the sun.

So the CC Cream ended up drying out my face, so then I added the Centella Red Serum to add some moisture to my face.

It didn’t quite remove all of my flakes from my eyebrow area but it did add a great hydration that was refreshing on my skin. I added this Serum to my daily facial cleaning routine!!

Coming into Day 2, I noticed a significant difference in the appearance of redness under my eyebrows! The patches were gone. My skin was still dry. Although, I’ve always had dryness show up in this area over the years so I’m still experimenting with different products to help reduce my flakes. But my skin felt soft too, so I decided to try the Cream again for Day 2.

This time, rather than applying it all over my face I only applied it to my eyebrow area above my eyes. Because of the small amount, it didn’t leave the green tone on my face, but it did dry out my skin. But, after about 5-6 minutes, I noticed the color-correcting and color-changing effect take place. The green color dissipated and my skin tone brightened up!

The area was still dry so I added another application of the Centella Red Serum. It helped with a bit of the moisture. I wonder if the flakes left behind are a result of the cream soaking in and activated into my skin?

Because again, my skin felt sooo smooth!! So it’s a mix between my dry skin (which I won’t totally fault or place blame on the CC Cream for) and it absorbing NEW ingredients in the area, but I would love to continue to try this product over the next few days to see what result it has in actually removing the redness from this area for good!!

(Update After Day 3: I woke up and immediately noticed that my skin was extra smooth! The red patch under my eyebrows is fading away and I’m likely to use this again to see if it COMPLETELY removes my red patch. Also, unlike after Day 1 and Day 2, the dry flakes around and in my eyebrows weren’t as dry as before. Which is a BIG improvement given that dry flakes tend to show up here because my eyebrow area has thinner skin than the rest of my body. My skin’s softness has greatly increased over three days.)

This has become my secret solution to use as a Red Patch Cream rather than as a sunscreen! Pairing this with Erborian USA’s Centella Serum helps to moisturize my face daily without adding any additional lotions or moisturizes or creams afterwards to help with dryness!

After years, I’ve finally found my remedy!
