I think this product does all it says it does, with one exception. While it definitely masks the cold sore, you can still see the circle of the patch. I don't wear foundation, so maybe for heavy makeup users, it would be concealed. So what I do...   +

I think this product does all it says it does, with one exception. While it definitely masks the cold sore, you can still see the circle of the patch. I don't wear foundation, so maybe for heavy makeup users, it would be concealed. So what I do is wear it from the second I get home from work, to the second I have to leave for work/go out in public. I use these patches in addition to oral medication, and it has helped speed up the initial development process the most. Probably the best perk, is that my cold sores don't seem to be as swollen as they usually are, nor as red.    -
