I bought the shampoo and condition together. My red highlight were fading FAST and I hope that this duo would prolong the life of my colour. I can't say that it made my colour last any longer than any other professional product. I think that this is a little less concentrated than other products I've used as well. However, the smell is just beautiful, fresh and light, and long lasting. It's a rose scent, which, usually I dislike, but, this is so pretty. My hair is very thick, but fine, and wavy. So, it tends to get weighed down with some products for chemically treated hair, and others leave it dry and unmanageable. I find that my hair is shiny, soft, and has really nice body after using this stuff. So, while it didn't seem to do what I bought it to do, it is a hair care product! -

I loved the Tide Pods, but noticed the gain flings on sale one day. I am so glad I decided to give them a try. The gain flings have all the same perks as the tide pods. There is less waste, no bits of powder, or small amount of soap leftover. They are tidier, no messy liquid drips that run from the cap down the bottle onto your shelf, or pouf of powder that escapes when you scoop. The flings (and pods) are also great for travelling, either to the laundromat or away because of how concentrated the pods are; the equivalent amount of soap in a powder or liquid takes up more than twice the space. There is less waste when you're finished, no big jug, or non recyclable wax coated box; just a tiny recyclable bag to dispose. What sold me on gain, is the effectiveness; it just works better than the tide pods! -

I love TIDE pods detergent. I find the spring meadows scent is so refreshing and clean. Pods are much tidier than a liquid or powder detergent and equally effective! There is a lot less waste with pods; instead of a big jug from which it is impossible to get the last bit of soap, or a non recyclable wax coated box, there is just a tiny bag that can be recycled once all the pods are used. The pods are great for small laundry rooms or if you have to travel because they are super concentrated so the detergent takes up less space than an equivalent amount of liquid or powder. -

If anyone has follwed my reviews, you've probably noticed that I have an affinity to highly priced cosmetics. Well, imagine my horror when I travel for work and leave behind all of my makeup. The trip wasn't as rugged as I had expected.. So, off to walmart I go to purchase some beauty supplies, with the looming dog kennel bill waiting for me when I get back.
I'm totally unfamiliar with drug store cosmetics because I almost exclusively buy department store type brands. I have heard some good reviews about this stuff and saw a girl at work using it, and she looks good so I gave it a try. I'm glad I did. it covers pretty well, as good as most department store brands, blends really well, feels light, moisturizes, is long lasting, and doesn't settle in my "fine lines". This is the toughest thing to find, a concealer that conceals my dark circles, and doesn't highlight my wrinkles. I would like a little more coverage, but this is the best balance I have found. I also really like the soft puffy applicator. It makes it easy to apply around my eyes then I just pat to blend. I have continued using this over my very pricy benefit concealer!

I'm totally unfamiliar with drug store cosmetics because I almost exclusively buy department store type brands. I have been wanting to try bb cream so this was my opportunity. I have to say how pleasantly surprised I was with this stuff. It minimized my pores, wasn't greasy, blended well, looked natural, slightly subdued my freckles, moisturized and has an spf of 20!! I only put average quality because I did find that I needed to use a little more than I am used to using with my moisturizers and liquid foundation. I will say though, I think I like the results of this better than my aveda tinted moisture.

I'm totally unfamiliar with drug store cosmetics because I almost exclusively buy department store type brands. After much indecision I grab Maybelline Colossal Volum Express Cat Eye Mascara. Boy, was I impressed. This uber cheap mascara had an impressive balance of volume and length. I found it added more length than volume, which worked for me, but maybe not for some ladies really wanting volume. You'd probably be better off finding something else if you really need to create full lashes. It also lasted all day without flaking or smearing. The only complaint I have is that it is hard to remove without eye make-up remover. I'm used to being able to just wash my face and everything comes off.
All in all my beauty crisis was averted for less than a latte!

I recently tried this line for normal- dry skin. I was very hesitant to make the switch from my usual oil-comination skin products because I still (at 31) get pimples. But, had noticed that I am using more of my old products to get the same hydration, and my fine lines are becoming less fine.
The cleanser leaves my skin feeling soft and not at all dry. Some mornings I don't need to do anything more than rinse because my skin still feels clean. Even on those dry mornings, this cleanser doesn't over dry. Because these products are all natural DO NOT expect that they will foam as well as many other brands. It can take some getting used to.
The day lotion pumps out such a small amount, but it is the perfect amount! Arbonne products are so concentrated you only need to use about 1/3 of what you're probably used to using with many department or drug store brands. I love that it's SPF 20.
The night lotion feels silky smooth and does not leave my skin with a greasy needs time to absorb feeling that some night creams do.
The eye lotion is so thick, but does not leave a slimy residue. I can start putting on eye make-up immediately after applying.
The best part of both of these moisturizers is that they leave my skin looking more firm and refined! At first I thought that I wouldnt' be getting enough hydration because they go on and instantly my skin looks soft and smooth, without greasiness. But, that silky smooth feeling lasts all day and night!!! Plus they smell so natural, fresh, and invigorating!!!
Chicks, this may seem pricey but you use so much less and get so much better results! Go online and find a rep near you! Your only regret will be that you didn't' try this stuff sooner.

I'm a big fan of the aveeno sunblock spray. The bottle is a little smaller than average so it works out to be pricier than most sunscreens. I like the smaller size because it makes it more portable, which is key for day long outdoor activities. This sunscreen doesn't leave a filmy feel like most sunscreens and it doesn't rub off in gross little balls if you rub your skin after applying. I have very break-out prone skin and this didn't cause a blackhead or blemish after a week of frequent applications. Plus, it smells great; it's a nice, light, fresh smell that doesn't appear before you do lol :) The sunscreen is supposed to be water and sweat proof, but I wouldn't put it up against a sport sunblock. I did find that on exceptionally hot days, or when perspiring heavily it doesn't absorb into my skin as well as sport varieties. But, in general it absorbs really well, and if applied to dry skin withstands moisture well. -

After years of hearing/ reading beauty gurus singing the praises of Clinique's black honey, and seeing it sold out of Clinique counters, I finally stumbled upon it while in line at Sephora. (Curse them and their effective impluse buy bins. Anyone who has stood in line at Sephora knows what I'm talking about)
Black honey is a colour that is touted as being appropriate for any skin tone. Aside from lip plumping glosses that bring a flush to my lips or very neutral glosses, I don't like wearing a lot of colour on my lips because I find it doesn't look natural. When you look at the colour in the tube it appears garish, almost something you'd buy for halloween and never again use. However, on my lips it adds a natural berry stain with buildable intensity. Almost lipstick isn't sticky, or heavy and has a nice sheen (that is constant regardless of how much you put on). It isn't very long lasting, but it doesn't bleed or make my lips feel or look dry.
The only criticism I have is that the lipstick doesn't twist back into the tube; I have to give it a little push down after application so the product doesn't extend above the edge and get smooshed by the cap.
Day to day I use Smashbox O-plump but, when I'm not at work, and want a little more kick this easily became my staple product.
