Nivea Creme
This is a classic. I remember my parents having tins of Nivea creme as a kid. this is great for dry skin (especially in the winter!). It's gentle. Very lightly scented and it's a staple in my book.

Some people are worried about using products with oil in them but it truly helps break down any waterproof makeup. It's inexpensive compared to other brands and I trust Nivea with my skin. I tried this product and it worked well. I was able to use it without brushing (thick curly hair here!) and it did the job. The scent is good (traditional Dove scent) but a bit overpowering at first. It did well to make my hair look fresher on a a second day without washing.

It's light and feels good. If you have extremely dry skin you may want to either adjust how much you apply or look into different alternatives.

Honestly at first the thought of washing my face with oil scared me a bit. The first use felt wonderful. My skin felt clean and soft and didn't pull like it does with some cleansers.
The scent reminds me a lot of Bio Oil (it's made by the same company!) and it feels wonderful.

Apart from the aesthetics the product spreads easily throughout your hair and a little goes a long way. What I've done to ensure I get beautiful curls (thick curly hair over here!) is apply the Dry Oil all over my hair after towel-drying it and separate my hair in 4 sections which I then individually braid. Gather the braids into a bun and leave them be overnight. (See picture for results!)

I love a good conditioner that actually works. This did just that. I used it paired with the shampoo (sent to me by Chick Advisor) and loved it. I have thick curly hair that will easily frizz and turn into a static mess but this conditioner helped define my curls and bring life back to my hair! -

I don't know why I stopped using Dove. It was never for a bad reason I just drifted away. And I don't understand how I could! I saw immediate results using this shampoo paired with the conditioner. This feels lightweight and fresh. Very impressed!
