I used to wear the original Calyx back in the 90's. It was one of my favourite fragrances and I couldn't wait to try the new Calyx. My first smell took me right back to the days I used to wear it! The smell was wonderful, light, fruity and just heavenly. Unfortunately, after a short while the scent changed and was not the same amazing fragrance that I remembered. It is still a good light fragrance but just not like the original Calyx. -

I received this product from ChickAdvisor to review. I found it to be okay on my combination skin. It has an SPF of 15 and I prefer my moisturizer to have an SPF of 30 to really protect from the sun. I used it under my makeup and my t-zone was shiny by the afternoon. I can't say that my skin looks any brighter since I have been using it but it has been only a couple of weeks. I liked the nice, light, fresh scent and that it contained no parabens. I think it would be a great product to use in the winter when you want a good moisturizer and don't need a high SPF. It is also a great deal at around $20.00. -

I received the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water from the ChickAdvisor review club and couldn't wait to try it! I have been using Bioderma Micellar Water and while its an excellent product it is very expensive and I go through a bottle quickly. The Garnier Micellar Water is just as good for less than half the price! I wear a lot of eye makeup and have combination skin. The Garnier water removed all of my eye makeup, including 3 coats of non waterproof mascara, without any problem. My combination skin was left feeling normal and smooth with no dry or oily areas. I also really like that there is no fragrance....it looks and smells like water. I have seen the Garnier Micellar Water at the drug store for $9.99 and I will definitely be switching to this product.
My youngest daughter is using it too and loves it as most of her blemishes have cleared up since she began to use it! I will buy it for her as well.

After reading a bunch of reviews on how great this mascara is, I told my sister about it and she got it for me on my birthday. I was so excited to try it but ended up very disappointed.
I have been a mascara junkie for about 30 years now and have tried them all. The Lancôme Grandiose just didn't work for me. I found it dried very quickly and left my lashes hard and brittle. It was clumpy going on and ended up flaking off during the day, especially from my lower lashes. Their was little volume or lengthening The swan brush did nothing special and if anything, was a little irritating to use. I found that what did not flake off my lashes was very hard to remove and left dark smudges under my eyes that were hard to get out.
But it does come in a beautiful container that looks very elegant and expensive.
I have tried other Lancôme mascaras and liked their formulas but this formula just didn't cut it....especially with the hefty price tag, but even if it was drug store priced, I would not buy it again.

Let me start by saying that once I put this foundation on, my face looked great and I was so impressed. I also loved the fresh scent which faded after I put it on. It is quite a strong scent so some people might be put off by that. It applied very smoothly and did not dry to quick so easy to blend.
I have pale skin, with pink tones and redness and find it very hard to get a good color match. The porcelain color was an almost perfect match and I so wanted this foundation to work for me.
But not even 2 hours later my face was so greasy and the foundation was sliding off my face! Not one to give up quickly, I tried it numerous ways....with 2 different types of primer, 2 different types of powder, without and without moisturizer underneath as well as directly onto cleansed skin with no other products. Same thing, a big, greasy mess within 2 hours.
Definitely not "Everlasting" for me and I returned the product for a refund.
