I bought Burt's Bees Lip shimmer a month and a half ago. This was my first experience with Burt's Bees Lip products. I hadn't bought it before because I wasn't sure if it would taste waxy or just sit on my lips and not really nourish it. I didn't want to wate my money because the product is higher than others on the market. I was fortunate to find a sale at Rexall Drugs so I bought the Papaya. I LOVE IT! It does nourish, it does make your lips feel tingly and the shimmer is just right. Not too much but enough that you have nice colour on the lips. I was impressed it wasn't waxy, it wasn't heavy. Just really nice!! -

This foot cream is great. Even my husband uses it. He hates girly smelling creams and this one just isn't. It's yummy, coconut smelling but not obtrusively so. It gets deep into my feet and makes my feet feel nice and smooth. I use it overnight with socks on. I think it would be too greasy if you didnt (if you tried to use it just as a regular cream and tried to put shoes on to walk out the door. I found by using it overnight that by the time morning comes, it's all absorbed into my feet. I think that is the best way to use this. -

This clove conditioner is very good. I have chestnut hair and get highlights in the summer. When they start looking brassy or too sun bleached I use this conditioner. It's perfect at making my hair feel great and look good. There isn't too many products out there as effective as this one (at least that I have tried). Aveda really got this one right which is why it's been around for so many years. It's my secret to great looking hair and always fresh looking highlights when they need toning down and now it's your secret too! :) -

I love VIM! I recently had a renter move out and leave the suite an unclean mess. Not just mess but true dirt and grime. She never cleaned. The bathroom - Vim cleaned up years of left over gunky makeup from the vanity and really cleaned the shower stall well. The kitchen - Vim cleaned the cupboard shelves and we tried another product at first because this said product was for the "kitchen". VIM cleaned circles around this other stuff. It just worked and it worked well. The nice scent afterwards was not overpowering which I also didn't want - that left over chemical smell. Vim had none if that. Just clean and slight lemony smelling. Nice. I also used this on blinds that hasn't been cleaned in years and it was effective in cutting grime on that too. -

I love this toothbrush! I wondered if I would like it since the head of the toothbrush is larger than others I have owned. Do not let this deter you as this is now my favourite toothbrush. I have given up my electronic toothbrush for this manual one. :) Why? Well for a few reasons. I have a retainer on my bottom teeth. This toothbrush is effective at getting the gunk out of that ridge on the bar of my retainer. No toothbrush has done this for me. I like the tounge & cheek cleaner too which my more expensive electronic toothbrush didn't have. Is it really important? Your Dentist would say so and I really have found by using it my mouth stays cleaner. Probably because it is! So, invest in this toothbrush and know you have done your mouth a favour today. I will continue to use my toothbrush and will buy another in the future.

The Crest Pro Health Rinse was an interesting one for me. I've tried several different brands over the years, but somehow not this one. I liked it's taste for one, secondly I love the design of the cap. It's tapered toward the top, which becomes the bottom when you flip it over and full it with rinse. Why is this good? It fits in my hand so well!! This means no spilled month rinse all over my counter because I can't seem to hold the cap and get it filled and bring it to my mouth without spilling everywhere. Ok, that make seem a bit silly, but it has happened on more than one occasion so this seemingly simple design is just way more than that - it's brilliant.
So what about the rinse you ask? I really do like it! I like that its alcohol free. I never liked other brands that had it as it always felt like I was burning the inside of my mouth. This isn't like that at all. The taste is good and I found that it did keep my mouth fresh. It is interesting to note that this brand says not to eat or drink anything for 30 mins after. I am a coffee drinker and I have found my teeth cleaner and breath fresher since using the rinse.

I must say I love this toothpaste!! It really did make my teeth feel like I just came from the dentist. I have a retainer on my bottom teeth and no other toothpaste could make that area as clean as this toothpaste did. My 7 year old found this tube of toothpaste on the counter and tried it. She liked it as well which I found great since she finds most toothpastes too "spicy". I will definitely keep using this toothpaste now. This one really works! I will agree with a few other reviewers that I have yet to see the whitening, but I understand that it would take care of surface stains. I also understand the limitations on toothpastes and whitening agents used. I was once told by a Dental Hygenist that in Canada, there are certain formulations or chemicals that can't be used in Canadian toothpaste. I am fine with this since I would rather focus on my health (example: combatting gingivitis) vs "surface beauty". :)
I too apologize if this review is considered late. I used this honestly and faithfully for a week and reviewed it promptly.

I've used the clarifying wash for over a year. It has a higher amount of salicyclic acid (the stuff that works to clear your skin) than other brands. I've seen a lot of other brands at 0.5% salicyclic acid, but this wash has 1%. It has NEVER irritated my skin. They don't put in a bunch of fillers or parfum in it that bothers a lot of skin types. What you get is a clean product for clear, clean skin. You don't have to use a ton of it to wash your face either so I found it lasted a long time. It works if you use it consistently. I don't get the breakouts I did before. -

Kicking Horse Coffee is truly wonderful. The beans they use are of high quality. I've tried Three Sisters & Kick Ass, Bugaboo and Cliffhanger (the espresso). It's feels good to support a company that is Canadian, ethical and fair-trade. I even had the privilege of visiting their home cafe (or headquarters or whatever you call it). It's close to Invermere in BC just off the highway. It's a great experience going there. I was able to try Syphon coffee for the first time. It's not a type if coffee, but how the coffee is prepared using a vaccuum process . It was absolutely great. The coffee is outstanding and I haven't ever been disappointed. For those who don't know, most of the coffees are named after mountains (including kick ass). :) -
