I kept passing over Gone Girl in my Android search feature, but with my mom up for a visit she picked this one out. Based on the cover, I always took this for just another made for TV B rated movie. But Gone Girl was surprisingly good. That lady was absolutely crazy and it scares me to think there's probably people like that out there. I was really hoping she was going to get what was coming to her when she went to David Pierce (an amazing actor!) since he came off as creepy to me. I thought that was on purpose. A very interesting movie over all, you'll definitely be on the edge of your seat. -

I saw Guardians of the Galaxy twice, and not really because I wanted to. The first time I found it incredibly boring. The second time, for some reason, it was a little more interesting and actually grabbed my attention. It does have some funny scenes, and I grew to like some of the characters. Although I think it's sad that my favourite character is a talking tree. He was the best though out of all of them. -
50 First Dates (2004)
For once, Adam Sandler is not that bad in one of his movies. 50 First Dates has some good chemistry between the actors, and the premise is interesting. I really hope this isn't a real medical problem, because life I think would never turn out this... +

It borders on being a chick flick, but it's more comedic than romantic. -

Made of Honor
Made of Honor was a nice take on the classic 'always the bridesmaid, never the bride' plot. The dreaded friend zone. A really good chick flick, and my husband and I both enjoyed watching this movie.

The Wedding Planner is a decent chick flick. No surprising twists or turns, pretty sub par plot, but it's still worth a watch with your girl friends. It does have some nice romantic scenes.

Modern Family is a well written, character driven family show that is an absolute joy to watch. Every single episode is funny, with real dialogue you would expect to hear between people (but not to the point of being like Parenthood, where is just gets annoying with everyone talking over the other). The gay couple is a bit stereotypical, but I suppose they had to make them that way to get on mainstream television. I really enjoy watching this show and I look forward to the next episode. I hope this series runs for a long time. There's really only one episode I didn't like and that was one of the recent episodes where it was a clear advertisement for Apple. -
Little Fockers (2010)
Little Fockers is a fairly decent follow up sequel, but definitely not as good as Meet the Parents or even Meet the Fockers. Still has few good laughs in it though. Worth a watch.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

Definitely not my favourite Pirates of the Caribbean movie, but it's still worth a watch. -
