For all those vegan and vegetarian shift workers out there this Gardein product is perfect! Savoury stuffed turkey is, of course, meatless and delicious. The protein itself is great; however, I would recommend skipping the gravy for it (maybe try on mashed potatoes or with roasted carrots instead). To pair with this meal in a rush, I simply cut an apple into small cubes, seasoned with thyme + cinnamon + cloves + black peppercorn, added a squeeze of honey, and lemon juice and heated in the microwave for 1min. The perfect pairing to truly bring thanksgiving to my table in a pinch. -

The Rise brand of kombucha offers a plethora of flavour combinations; there is truly a variety catering to every taste palette. My new favourite includes the jasmine and lychee edition, which I initially was skeptical about. However, this duo is refreshing, subtly floral, with bursts of invigorating lychee fruit flavour. It’s like tasting Hawaii in a bottle. Lovely product! -

I'd like to start by thanking ChickAdvisor & EOS for the oppurtunity to try the new EOS crystal lip balm in hibiscus peach for free! The product itself was clear like a crystal as stated in the name, which I thought gave an overall very glamerous and unique appearance. The flavour was sweet and fruity like peaches with a hint of tropical floral undertones from the hibiscus, the final flavour note becomes more of a sweet tropical cherry. It's quite nice, and it glides onto the lips in a smooth fashion, while also hydrating them. Leaves lips supple and kisses are incredibly flavourful -

Best Investment Ever. Hands down (literally) has saved me so much time in the kitchen! I got my beautiful bright pink Kitchen Aid mixer for Christmas awhile back, and for years now I've been able to make delicious homemade frosting without having confectioner's sugar fly everywhere. Thank you Kitchen Aid for mixing up my recipes with ease, and thank you saving my arm muscles from exhaustion when I make fresh breads. Baking will never be the same again :) -

Instead of making my own home fries for breakfast I opted to try whipping up a batch of these McCain Hash browns instead. These potatoes are cut into cute, tiny cubes but I find that they taste a little odd. I prepared these potatoes in a buttered skillet over medium heat for around 10 minutes. I didn't like the taste of them simply plain so I added some ketchup, sea salt, and vinegar which gave them more of a chip wagon french fry flavour. My favourite way to eat this product is with sea salt, cayenne pepper, and drizzled with medium buffalo hot sauce, which gives the potato an extra bite and makes me forget about the unpleasant taste I find these hash browns have when eaten plain. All in all this is a great product for me to use for breakfast when I'm feeling lazy or I'm in a bit of a morning rush. -

I was excited to try these, the concept of simply being able to throw these potatos in the skillet and be free of a mess was so easy, but unfortunately their taste fell flat. These potatoes are very bland and I much prefer whatever way I decide to prepare from scratch. If I ever use these for convience again I would add some seasoning or hot sauce to give them a distinct flavour. -

About this product though, I absolutely love the golden oreo thins - especially paired with a tea because every cookie tastes better with tea. The golden oreo thins are the PERFECT cookie to cream ratio, not too sweet (but they could be if you eat too many), not too bland (like I find regular oreos), just crispy and creamy enough to satisfy this chick who usually finds boxed grocery store cookies to be an abomination against cookies everywhere. I'm an at home baker so I feel that I am bias on this subject. Okay back to the cookie. It's thin and fits perfectly into my mouth, I enjoy tiny things including small cutlery. I am unaware of why small things amuse me so much, maybe because I find them adorable - to be honest I'm not really sure but what I do know is that these cookies are about half the size or a regular oreo which automatically makes them better in my opinion. Taste plays a major factor in the enjoyment of food though so you're probably wondering, so what do they taste like? Well, they kind of taste like the regular golden oreos (no real distinct flavour) except they're less sweet (thank god) and have a tinge more of a vanilla essence flavor (for those of you unaware of this flavour it has a bit of a lighter flavour than that of a pure vanilla extract). So yes, I do recommend this product BUT try it paired with a warm tea and see what you think. You may or may not like it like I do (isn't that last part a song?), but at least you will have given it a try of your own.

On behalf of my mother, who drinks this tea religiously, I have given this tea 5/5. If it were up to me matcha would not make an appearance in my home. In my opinion it tastes like mint seaweed and since my extremely picky black cat, who will only eat seafood or seafood flavoured food, likes to steal my mother's cup of matcha and drink it up when she's not looking (or looking for that matter, my cat just doesn't care), is a drink that I veer so anxiously away from. ANYWAYS, for those of you who actually enjoy the taste of Matcha then this is a must try drink. For some reason people are addicted to this specific type of tea. I seriously think there is a DavidsTea cult dedicated specifically to this one type of matcha tea since every employee there raves on about it. -

Although I am lactose-intolerant I still tend to consume dairy products, although I'm adamant I will never again drink regular milk. I used to live on Earth's Own Vanilla Almond Milk that you find in the refrigerated health food aisle in my local Superstore, at least I did during the first year of my lactose intolerance diagnosis. I have since transition to Natrel's lactose-free milk because it simply tastes like regular milk but it's made without the lactose!
What's great about this almond milk is that it's sweet enough to disguise the bitter taste of regular unflavoured almond milk with the addition of the vanilla and since it's in the refrigerator section I question it's authenticity less than that of the "milks" I find on the grocery store shelf in a box. Maybe it's because I've never had an experience that ended well attempting to drink the boxed products, but I just don't like other almond milks like I do Earth's Own Vanilla Almond Milk. It's fresh, sweet, and refreshing AND tastes exceptionally good in a bowl of Kellogg's Raisin Brand cereal.

For what this product is, a healthier alternative to a chocolate and cherry infused frozen ice cream treat, it's fairly awesome AND a decent price compared to a froyo shop. Again, in comparison to ice cream it's actually NOT light on the flavour and that's saying something for a frozen yogurt. Personally I'm a frozen yogurt fanatic so I have some experience in the froyo department. I love visiting my local Menchie's on a regular basis, but after awhile it gets pretty pricey so I try to find grocery store products to satisfy my craving. In all honestly I have moved on from the Chapman's brand (unless I'm making a smoothie and I tend to purchase their vanilla frozen yogurt), because I like to experiment with new products A LOT. Anywho, this yogurt is chocolatey and sweet because the cherry pieces as well as the chocolate cherry infused chunks taste like a sugary syrupy SWEET cherry candy. This flavour is a little sophisticated and pairs nicely with fresh cherries and chocolate sauce if you're into a decadent treat with the off set of trying to add the real fruit to actually receive some sort of health benefit. So yeah, give this product a whirl. -
