My little boy somehow broke our dishwasher, so all our dishes are done by hand. I have tried different variants of Dawn before, but it's my first time using the Platinum version. The blue one comes in the fresh scent, and I think it smelled clean and refreshing.
As for cleaning, I think it did a good job with our dishes. On one hand, I would do a pre-soak in the sink, and use a dish brush for stuck on food. Dawn Platinum cleaned well and rinsed off easily, food and oil were no match. Even plastic containers, which are notorious for holding on to oily residue, came out clean.
The only thing I'm not too pleased about is it's too watery/liquid for me. I would like it much better if Dawn made it a tad thicker.

Mr Clean Multi-Surface Disinfectant Liquid comes in a huge 5.2L jug from Costco. I like the big packaging, it means less trips to the store and less plastic, good for the environment.
I use Mr Clean liquid when cleaning the tiled floors in our home. I vacuum the floors first, then dilute Mr Clean according to the directions on the back label. Mopping is easy, and I like that I don't have to rinse it off. The Summer Citrus scent is pleasant without being overpowering. I feel good knowing our kitchen and bathroom floors are clean and disinfected, with a toddler and dog in our home, plus a little baby boy coming soon!
It's a great cleaner, and since I have two huge jugs now, I will be trying it around the house. I recommend Mr Clean Multi Surfaces Disinfecting Liquid for anyone looking for a liquid cleaner.

I love After Eight, but I've never tried the straws before, so I was really excited to taste test the After Eight straws. The packaging is pretty cool, it's a cardboard tube and when you pull out the cover, the straws are in like a little cup and they fan out a little bit.
The straws themselves are very much like the regular After Eight squares. They are just the right balance of chocolate and minty goodness. Two thumbs up from me! I'm sure mint lovers like me would really like After Eight straws.

I received Nude by Nature Natural Glow Loose Bronzer in Bondi Bronze in my Chickadvisor Showcase at-home kit. I was surprised as it's huge, it's 10g, same jar and weight as the full size loose mineral foundation.
I love it as it's a finely milled powder, easy to pick up and apply. It blended without much effort and looks natural. The jar's twist top lid has a sort of stopper, to help prevent the loose mineral bronzer from flying everywhere. The mesh inside helps you control how much product to pick up.
I really liked Nude by Nature's Natural Glow Loose Bronzer, and I'm sure it will last a really long time.

I wish the sample was a bit bigger so I could try it at different places and events and really come up with a full opinion. The perfume itself smelled both fruity and floral to me. I liked the fresh scent on me, I just wish it lasted longer. It faded a bit too quickly for me. -

I received a Nude by Nature's Flawless Brush in my Chickadvisor Showcase at-home box. Nude by Nature's Mineral Brush has impressed me before I was excited to try this new brush of mine.
The synthetic bristles (cruelty-free, yes!) are soft and feel great on the skin. It comes in a plastic tube that protects the brush, so the bristles came in nice and not smushed. I kept the packaging, it's great to store the brush when travelling! The Flawless Brush picked up the right amount powder easily, and the product applied nicely.

I got a full size and a travel size of Bio-oil in my Chickadvisor Showcase at-home box. I'm in the second trimester of my pregnancy now, and I was looking for something to moisturise and help prevent stretchmarks when they announced the Showcase box contents.
The packaging is simple, it's a plastic bottle with a twist on cap. The oil itself smells nice, like baby oil. My son loves helping me apply it on my belly and he also thinks it smells good. It does keep my skin nice and moisturised. As for preventing stretchmarks, it's still too early for me to tell as during my first pregnancy, my stretchmarks appeared during my third trimester.
That said, it is quite expensive and I'm glad I got to try it at a discount thanks to Chickadvisor Showcase.
