As someone with extremely oily skin that is also dehydrated and tends to flake, I need a good scrub that can really get deep into my pores, so this exfoliating scrub is the perfect product. I find the exfoliating beads to be the right size, and the minty effect is refreshing. I use this 3 times a week and when I miss one of those times it is really noticeable: my skin looks uneven and rough and dull. A small amount can cover your entire face and once you're done scrubbing, it doesn't leave any residue. Other scrubs don't exfoliate enough or have really harsh things in them that hurt, but this one is the perfect balance. -

As someone with oily dehydrated skin living through harsh winters, I can confidently say that this product saved my skin. No matter how many layers of moisturizer I put on, within minutes my skin would look cracked and flaky and no amount of exfoliating would help. I ran to the Clinique counter and asked what could help my skin?! The ever helpful Anne told me that putting this over my normal moisturizer would give me that extra boost my skin needed to stay moisturized, and sure enough it did! In the summer I don't use this due to the high humidity not affecting my skin, but in the winter this leaves me with soft, moisturized skin that doesn't flake, doesn't cause breakouts and doesn't leave my oily skin any worse! Absolutely worth the price for this miracle in a jar! -

I received this as part of the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. Firstly, the packaging of the tampons was perfect. The cute glossy purple box with a little window to see the individually wrapped tampons was adorable. The matching purple applicators of the tampons were not only esthetically pleasing but really nice to use too! The yellow wrapping of the tampon that was resealable was really nice as I've always wished my normal brand was resealable in some way. In terms of absorbency, for a regular tampon I feel like they help up pretty well on those light-moderate days. -

I received this product free to test from Chick Advisor's Product Review Club. The cute purple glossy box was a nice change from my regular box of liners, and the product's versatility with different styles of underwear was much appreciated. I wish the liner was a little bit longer, but overall was really pleased with it. It absorbed well, didn't shift at all during wear, and was easy to forget about it while wearing! I don't really carry liners with me (usually just tampons/pads) so them not being wrapped wasn't an issue for me but if I was traveling it would be nice to carry a few wrapped ones instead of the box -

I received this product to try from Chick Advisor and was immediately impressed by the packaging. The gorgeous box was a nice change from the regular green plastic bag-type material! I found the pads, when placed correctly, to be very comfortable and leak-free. The light scent was also a nice feature! Not too strong, not irritating, just a nice touch. I found the absorbency of the material better than my regular brand, it just seemed to absorb more effectively so I was less worried about leaks. -

The Dove Original Beauty Cream Bar felt really creamy on my skin, a pleasant change from the harsh bar soaps I have used in the past. It left a slight film after rinsing, but it wasn't bothersome (although in more humid weather this summer it might be!). I can definitely see this soap becoming my go-to soap for the drier months of the year when my skin needs that extra layer of moisture. The scent seemed fairly strong to me when it was fresh out of the box, but over time became more subtle (but still noticeably present).

I tried Aquafina Plus Vitamins 10 Cal Enhanced water in three flavours: strawberry lemonade (more strawberry than lemonade), fuji apple pear (a really nice mix of the two flavours) and black & blueberry (very berry flavor, not as light as the other two). I found all of them to be very nice and refreshing, particularly after working out, but at times they tasted a little too sweet.
My favourite was the strawberry lemonade, since it was sweet and a little tangy from the lemonade. This definitely was not an awful artificial sweet flavor like some other flavoured water beverages I’ve tried in the past, it was a more natural fruity-sweetness. These flavours were also more fun and really appropriate for the hot summer months coming up.
I will definitely be buying these to help me get through the humid summer, and with only 10 calories I will definitely be sharing them guilt-free with my friends!

Vim Cream Lemon Cleanser held up well in the best test in my home: the grimy, black-gunk-covered bathtub. When I first moved in, the bottom of the tub was covered in black footprints and grime and I was hesitant to use harsh chemical products on the tub since we often use it to take baths. The Vim cream smelled lovely, a really nice fresh lemon smell and had a nice smooth cream texture that was perfect for wiping down the tub. Mixed with a little elbow grease, the cream cleaned most of the black marks off the tub (only some severely stained parts were left grey-ish) and rinsed off pretty well (there was a little residue left but that was quickly washed off when the shower was turned on for a few minutes). Overall, I'd say the Vim Cream Lemon Cleanser is a nicely scented product that works pretty well and for a great price. -

I used this product in the shower every day, as the product tends to run down the bottle during the massaging and can get a littly messy if this is done over the sink. The cleanser has a light, fruity scent that isnt overpowering, and the bristles are stiff rubber when dry, but a bit softer when wet. The texture is unlike anything I have ever tried before, and felt very strange at first, but felt very nice and exfoliated well. I liked that the brush created the lather, and after washing it off, my face felt clean and fresh. It also made my moisturizer glide on very smoothly afterwards.
This isnt a strong cleanser, and if you were wearing makeup you should probably use a makeup remover prior to this. My skin tone looks more even and my skin is clearer thanks to those rubber bristles. Overall, I enjoyed using this and my face has even looked noticeably brighter, as one of my friends pointed out today. I then recommended the product to her, as I will to others.
