I am now in the habit of checking Chick Advisor while I drink my coffee in the morning, just to see what's new and what has been updated since the day before. Honestly, I first signed up with the lure of trying free products, but that has become secondary. The community here is fantastic and supportive, and the answers I have received to forum topics I've posted have been helpful and considerate. The website is much more then I expected it to be! -

I love this! I was afraid it would be a little thick and/or greasy as it was being applied, as I have found that in the past with NIVEA lotions, however I was quite happy to be proved wrong. I love the scent, and although it's definitely scented it's not overpowering. It applies easily and absorbs quickly, and leaves my skin feeling soft throughout the day. -
McCain Hashbrowns
My family loves these! When they are on sale, they are the same price or cheaper then the store brands, but the quality of the McCain Hashbrowns is so much better then the store brands that I sometimes pay the extra money anyway. They cook up... +

When they are on sale, they are the same price or cheaper then the store brands, but the quality of the McCain Hashbrowns is so much better then the store brands that I sometimes pay the extra money anyway. They cook up evenly and brown nicely, and unlike some other brands they do not get "mushy" if they are fried up right out of the freezer. We add a few seasonings as they cook to customize them for us and enjoy! -

I have been using this all winter, even though for years I considered myself to be a Burts Bees lip balm girl. I was given some of this after Christmas, and fell in love with it. The scent is clean and light, and it applies smoothly and evenly across my lips, even when they are already chapped. The only downside to them is the size of the tube - as it's a little larger then most lip balms, it doesn't fit as easily in my pocket. Small price to pay. -
Subway Cookies
These are so soft and (usually) fresh - I can't imagine a subway meal without one (okay, sometimes more then one!). I especially love the white chocolate and macadamia nut cookies.

I can't use this shampoo on a consistent basis with long hair - it seems to take all the bounce out of it and leaves my hair very flat and heavy looking, while at the same time the ends dry out. I've been leaving in my gym bag and using it only then to use it up, but if I use it for two washes in a row my hair just takes on a lifeless, heavy look. It's too bad because I've used Pantene in the past and had no issues, but this combination just does not work for me. -

This is a really cool book for someone like me - I can't draw, but consider myself creative, and love to have a reason to experiment with new methods and new supplies. This book does not send you out with a large shopping list of expensive materials to buy in order to do the exercises, unlike other books that do. Also, it's more about the experience of trying new things to get the creative juices flowing then it is a purely technical book - perfect for me, as it's really more about the process for me. I've learned some new things and had some fun - so the book was successful in it's mission! -

I didn't bother with this app for awhile after hearing about because it seemed like more of a hassle then a help, but after realizing my sister-in-law was getting actually cheques from them almost every month I started using it myself - I wish that I had done it sooner! It's so easy to use with my iphone, and I find a lot of the products featured every week match up with coupons that are out at the same time. It's very easy to build up cash and very easy to redeem for a cheque. -
