This Perfecting Primer by Nude by Nature is light and blends amazingly into the skin and it gave me an instant pick me up on its own, despite how dull my skin looked thanks to the dry winter we have here.
I am not a fan of fragrance in my make up but I like the subtle fresh smell this one had. I couldn't smell any of it once I had applied it. I have dry skin, the primer definitely helped with the application of mineral powder foundation and helped it stay on for the course of the day.
I appreciate the natural ingredients and the fact that my skin did not get irritated after wearing it the entire day. I would definitely recommend that you give it a go if you're looking for a primer. This one will not disappoint!

I was skeptical on how Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara would compare to my current high end brand and I was taken for a surprise - this mascara is pretty amazing! It went on smoothly and I am pretty impressed with the design of the brush as well. It works well to separate and enhance lashes perfectly. It lasted all day and was easy to remove at night with a cleansing cloth. I received this product free for reviewing purposes in my #recessvoxbox. -
The Body Shop Matte Kajal Black Eyeliner
I like everything about the kajal apart from the fact that it runs and does not stay on where I want it to stay, on my eyelids. Reapplying helps a bit I guess. I would not recommend. Looks nice when it's on though it's pigmented and rich in colour.

I am not too big on their lip products but I love my NYX Nude on Nude palette. It's affordable, the colours are nice and well pigmented. I don't expect these to stay on for 12 hours but they stay on pretty nicely for at least 6 to 8 hours. The colours work well together or on their own. The lip palette has a nice range as well and are not just glossy but well pigmented colours. I would recommend it. The brand is vegan as well which gets them more points from me! -

I have dry and sensitive skin since forever and so my lips need to be tended to constantly with a lip balm. Of course, dry weather where I live in Canada does not help either. I am very happy with Burt's Bees Intensive Lip Balm with Kokum Butter. I was not sure what to expect in terms of the smell but I like it. It is truly ultra hydrating, every time I put it on it absorbs very nicely into my lips and leaves them soft and healthier looking as well. I found that I had to keep reapplying it throughout the day to keep them as soft which is acceptable. It is incredible and cruelty-free with none of the bad stuff. -
