Member Since: August 27, 2013I like Old Navy clothing - affordable, a lot of cute items (like fair isle boot socks, which I love), and good sales, too.
Favourite store:It's pretty hard to pick just one store....but I think I'd go with London Drugs, because they have so many things I need and love, and in one place (food, beauty products, clothing). Also, their selection is spectacular! They have a huge variety of beauty products (natural soaps, face cream from France), and food (tons of imports, amazing tea selection). And their staff is always so nice. Also, they just started up a rewards program, so that's great, too.
Favourite magazine or web site:I'd have to say Facebook, because it allows me to do everything I want to do - keep in contact with far-flung family, post photos, see what friends are up to, and read product reviews on store/company pages.
Latest vacation:Cuba! Aqua water, white sand, the sound of the surf, the smell of jasmine and coconut....

My proudest accomplishment...Being a strong person. Surviving many incredibly difficult things, without becoming a bitter person.
Ensemble that you feel hottest in...Black heels (not too high), black tights, cute mini skirt, black fitted top, hair down long and loose and wavy, my silver necklace with the star pendant, and my beautiful silver-and-blue bangals from India.
Ugliest piece of clothing that you still wear:Legwarmers.
Biggest fashion mistake is:Being tacky.
The beauty product you can't live without:Cover girl face powder.
Do you believe in love at first sight?Yes.
Celebrity look-alike:People tell me I look a tiny bit like Gwenenth Paltrow. I don't see it, though. I think they mean that when I was much younger, I looked a bit like her.
If I had super-powers I would......like to be able to fly!
One thing about me most people don't know:I love to dance, alone, at home. :-)
Early bird or night owl:Night owl.
Favourite music:Love so many kinds of music: rock, classical, pop, alternative....pretty much love it all except rap and country and heavy metal. Right now, am listening to a lot of David Usher.
Favorite food (or drink):Black tea of any kind...I love them all: a good strong breakfast blend, earl grey, earl grey vanilla (so good!), chai....
