This plier is a well made tool, easy to use, with the self adjusting feature to fit a variety of filter sizes. It provides a very strong grip, removing really tight filters with ease. One limitation I experienced was if your filter is located in a small/tight area, you may not have enough space to turn the tool/handles. I would recommend this plier.
