I bought dark blonde, a shade lighter than I thought I would need after reading the reviews that it's always darker than pictured. I only wanted to add a bit of tint to the scattering of greys I've got as a mid 30s woman. It was STILL extremely dark. Not only that, but it also gave me ginger highlights - AND DIDN'T COVER MY GREYS?!?!!! I kept it in the full 20 minutes but there goes $12 down the drain. I only pray now that it truly does only last 28 washes.    -
