So glad I graduated to the DHC lip cream from vaseline. I'm a lip-balm-in-every-purse-and-pocket kind of girl, and found that the more I used lip balm, the more I needed (Smith's lip balm, I'm looking at you). Cue DHC Lip Cream, which I swipe on once in the morning, one midday and once before bed. You won't find yourself craving more, or feeling chapped. I can't rave about this stuff enough! -

A hard-core fan of the DHC cleansing oil here. While I've never used the more expensive Shu Uemura cleansing oil that this is apparently a dupe of, I can say that this product helped balance out the dry and oily patches of skin I had been battling with my entire life. I was also wary of serums, due to my patchy oily spots, and had never endured prolonged facial oil use because the first few greasy days always made me stop. This was the perfect solution. The oily cleanser easily rubs off makeup, and then rinses off just as easily. I use it only at night, and only followed up by a wash with my regular cleanser. Honestly, this stuff is a life-saver. I regularly get complimented on how dewy and glowy my skin looks. -

I'm a relatively new convert to the Night-a-mins team, but what I lack in seniority, I make up in passion. This night cream runs a little more expensive than what I usually like to stock my medicine cabinet with (the Neutrogena deep moisture night cream is my usual go-to), but I feel like occasionally changing up the products you use in your regime is the key to not feeling like you've plateau'd in your skin care.
Night-a-Mins is a lightweight moisturizing cream with an insanely gorgeous scent. It goes on smoothly and hydrates my skin all through the Canadian winters. If the cost has you a little worried, keep your eyes peeled for the yearly holiday Sephora gift pack, including a 30 mL version of this cream plus the day cream, a smaller eye cream and several masks.

Spectrogel was first suggested to me years ago, when I was a speckly teenager complaining to my doctor. It had worked like a charm, and I went on to spend many years in my twenties taking my nearly clear skin for granted until adult acne caught up with me. Opting to skip the complicated and expensive options suggested to me by beauty blogs and Sephora advisors alike, I returned to a daily wash with Spectrogel and have never turned back. It does have a tendency to become drying, so try to minimize washes with this to only once per day. I also pair it with hydrocolloid bandage spot care for the occasional eruption.
An eternal favourite of mine with a perfect price tag. This will probably never leave my skin care regime.
