I have always struggled with very dry skin in the winter, especially on my hands. It would get so bad that they would crack and be so itchy. I’ve tried so many creams only to be disappointed an hour later when my skin became so dry again. The Aveeno Restorative Skin Therapy is so wonderful! Not greasy, non-scented and keeps my skin so hydrated. Love it! Will definitely be my go to all year round. -

This Lip Shimmer is the only lip product that I use. I have never been able to find a lipstick that didn't leave my lips feeling dried out or gummy. I took a chance on Burt's Bees when Shoppers Drug Mart had it on sale last year. I love the colour and light shimmer, and always leaves my lips feeling soft and hydrated. The colour will last me for quite a few hours. Watermelon is my go-to daytime colour and Plum for evening. -

I only gave this an average rating because it is not a mascara that builds volume. I have sparse lashes and needed to use 3 or 4 coats (with drying time in between) to even make a small difference. It is somewhat waterproof under normal conditions, eg, crying, or watery eyes, or getting caught in the rain (not sorry, I've had that song in my head all day lol) .. however, it didn't hold up for me after swimming in the pool, or in the shower. I will need to stick to my lash tube mascara. -

I came across this CreamSerum when Shoppers Drug Mart had their Dove Hair Care line on sale for 50% off. I have very dry, curly, frizzy hair and am in LOVE with this product. I use it wet out of the shower, or on dry hair when I am in between hair washers (I also LOVE the Dove Dry Shampoo). It tames my frizz without weighing down my curls or leaving any residue. I just recently came across this dry shampoo when Shoppers Drug Mart had it on sale for around $4.00. I usually use Batiste, which is a lot more expensive. I have curly hair with highlights so I only wash my hair a few times a week. The Dove Dry Shampoo works perfectly at absorbing all the oils and brings my curls back to life! I top it off my style routine with the Dove Leave IN Anti Frizz Cream every day. A wonderful system that doesn't weigh down my curls! -

I use Mr. Clean Magic Erasers for everything around my home. They are a miracle worker!! I first tried them a few years ago when my then15 year-old daughter was into dying her hair every colour of the rainbow. She left my white tile counters and sink purple, pink and blue. I was told to never use bleach on my porous counters, so I grabbed a box of Magic Erasers. Within a few minutes, and without too much effort, the Magic Erasers literally erased all of the damage done by the hair dye. My mother-in-law gave me some "erasers" that she purchased from the dollar store, but they didn't work at all!
Now I use the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers for everything, from removing fingerprints from walls and doors, to my outdoor furniture, and stains in my kitchen. I will always keep Mr. Clean Magic Erasers on hand for all of my cleaning needs.
