Although I was not a fan of all the other Dove Dry Shampoo variants, I really enjoy this one and consistently repurchase.
I have tried many other brands of dry shampoo (salon and department store brands) and this is always my go-to when on a budget or need something asap. The price of course is an added bonus ($4 sale item), but this one specifically doesn't give my hair HUGE volume that would make it stiff, but my 2nd day hair tends to go flat and this stuff not only absorbs the oils but also brings it back to life! My scalp is also very sensitive to build up and itchiness, and this is probably one of the few dry shampoos that doesn't irritate either of those things. It also happens to smell very light (pleasant, fresh, but non offensive) and leaves absolutely no white cast.
The only reason I don't recommend the other Dove Dry Shampoos is because they don't absorb my oils whatsoever.
If you want "natural" 1st day hair volume and oil absorb, with no white cast or build up - and on a budget - this is the one!

Wow I am so so so glad I decided to try this! I used to walk by in the local healthfood store thinking it was just a bar soap for hands but to my discovery it's actually meant for skincare!! I personally have very acne prone, sensitive and seasonally combo/dry skin. This bar soap leaves your skin CLEAN & SOFT and I swear my skin has improved since switching to it. I also really appreciate that it's a bar, sulfate free, travel friendly (just cut off a piece and take it with you), smells and feels nice. And O-M-G only $3!! And it lasts for quite a few months! Which works perfectly because in the summer I switch to their Creamy Clay version when my skin gets oily. Honestly, even if they upped the price to $10 I would still buy this stuff cuz this works THAT GOOD. I will never switch to any other face cleanser ever again. Highly recommend! -

My skin is very acne and redness prone, sensitive and in the cold Canadian winters it is also extremely dry. This night moisturizer is a God send!!
Although it would totally be sufficient on its own, I like to mix it at night with Sukin rosehip oil to get the added benefits of that too. It absorbs so well in my skin, leaving it soft and supple... Even until I wake up the next morning! I would also recommend this moisturizer for day time use to anyone with extremely dry skin.
The texture is a wonderful, like whipped yogurt! And it smells like Terry chocolate orange!!! So yummy!! Highly recommend!!

I have been using this day moisturizer for over 2 years now, and ever since I discovered this one I have stopped looking for a replacement!! I have extremely sensitive, acne prone, combo skin and this stuff is perfection for it. It also smells divine!! The ingredients are amazing, also cruelty free which I appreciate. It does not cause oxidation under makeup. And a little goes a long way so one of these pots it comes in lasts up to 6 months for me! The texture is also really beautiful... Like whipped yogurt, and it absorbs very nicely in the skin leaving it very soft, toned and bright! I did only give 4 stars for effectiveness because in the cold Canadian winters (and anyone with extremely dry skin) I don't think this moisturizer would be sufficient so I would recommend mixing with Sukin Rosehip oil :) -

I have tried going the sulfate-free shampoo route for years and constantly felt like I "just couldn't find the right one". After fighting for the health of my hair, thinking I was doing best with sulfate-free, I realized that there was so much build up on my scalp causing itchiness and flakiness, while my hair was flat and lacking volume. I knew this shampoo worked for me approx 7 years ago so I decided to try again - best decision! My scalp is now so happy, itch free, voluminous and soft! As for the price, they really get you with the big litre jug as a tiny bottle is $20 and would probably only last a month. The large litre was around $50 CND and very much worth it in my opinion. I also really appreciate that it comes with a pump. The texture is very creamy, lathers nicely, smells divine, and cleans my hair and scalp without stripping it. Highly recommend to follow with a good conditioner though to prevent drying on the mid-ends. -
