I had seen these products at the dollarama (pina colada flavour and two others i cannot recall) i never purchased them but was always a little interested so i was glad to get a chance to take part in this opportunity. i really like the mai tai flavour, it's a mix of almond citrus and pineapple. which actually work really well together. you can have a really simple recipe just adding some crushed ice or add some rum to spice it up. it also came with a booklet with a couple of recipes which are easy to follow. i served them at a bbq over the weekend and they were a hit. i believe it was around $4 at the superstore when i purchased it, which is an amazing price!

At 2.99 it is a bit expensive. I didn't really enjoy this flavour as much as the other one... it might be because i'm a bit of a choclate feind! I found this bar despite the reduction in sugar, to be too sweet. I am also not a huge fan of lemon so that may also be another factor. I did like that although like all protein bars it has a bit of a chalky taste it wasn't too overwhelming. I would recommend this to someone who enjoys lemon flavoured items, as it may be their cup of tea. At the end of the day the bar is high in protein and gluten free, so it's not all bad!

I got a chance to try the PowerBar chocolate peanut butter flavour for free courtesy of the product review club. It has listed an average price of 2.99 (for one bar)? which is a bit expensive. If i buy a cliff bar or energy bar i usually wait for it to go on sale for $1. I liked the chocolate peanut butter flavour it was pretty good. It had a bit of a chalky taste but it wasn't too bad. I love that they are reduced sugar and are still able to taste delicious. The bars are also gluten free. I ate them as an afternoon snack before I hit the gym after work and they were very filling and able to curb my appetite until dinner time. I would definitely consider purchasing this bar in the future. -

Had the opportunity to test this body wash as part of the product review club. I already love aveeno products so there's no surprise here that I love this body wash. First of all it has that great apricot and honey scent (although i will admit I think i liked the smell of the moisturizer a bit better). That's not to say that the product didn't smell nice. It comes in an easy to use squeezable bottle that easily allows you to apply the product to a sponge, loofah, hand, whatever. It lathers up well and left my skin feeling soft and hydrated. I used it all over my body but I was particularly concerned about my dry legs. I just checked right now and they are smooth as a baby's behind. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone who already uses aveeno and would like to try out a lovely new flavour/scent or for someone looking for a hydrating body wash. -

Got a chance to sample a full size bottle (or bowl lol) of this product courtesy of the product review club. First of all I love aveeno products so I already knew I was in for a treat. Upon opening the container you get hit with the amazing scent of apricot and honey. Really great smell, but of course not too strong. The texture is really creamy, kind of like yogurt and it goes on smooth. I've been using it so far on just my hands and arms, which I will admit were a bit dry prior to using it, but are all good now. It's very hydrating and non greasy. It's yet another great aveeno product to add to your collection. The only thing I don't like is the packaging. It's a personal preference i prefer my moisturizer to come in a bottle with a pump. For an average price of about $9 this is typical price for moisturizers, especially aveeno moisturizers. -

I received a full size illuminating highlighter. It comes in a squeezable bottle. Previously I have used highlighter in powder form. The product is easy to use all you have to do is apply the desired amount and tap or blend in. I like to use my fingers. You can apply it anywhere for an extra glowy look or to highlight certain parts of your face. I found the product worked well and would definitely purchase it in the future.

I received a full size master camo colour correcting kit which was really timely as i had been looking into purchasing a colour corrector. Right now I only use concealer. There are 4 colours: 2 for correcting, 2 for concealing and 2 for highlighting. It also comes with a brush which i wouldn't really recommend. I use the green quite a bit because i have red spots from acne. I found the product was ok... but it didn't do a great job of concealing compared to the product i normal use (which is a bit more high end). I also prefer a liquid concealer as opposed to a cream. However for 14.99 and for someone who maybe doesn't have as many problem areas (lol) this might be the perfect product.

In terms of eye makeup i don't wear too much. I usually put a little concealer around my eyes to give it a nice matte look. This is a great product to give your eyebrow and eye area some pop as well as to define your brows. It has a bit of shimmer as well so it's perfect for a night out. The product is super easy to use, just apply under the brow (or even over) and i use my concealer brush to pat the product in and blend it. I think it works effectively enough so for 11.99 it's a great option if you are looking for a cheap product.

I got to try a full size mascara called "The Colossal Big Shot Mascara". I think I have a new go to drug store mascara! I have pretty long eyelashes on my own so I usually use drug store brands (cover girl). However I found this product was even better. I felt that it made my lashes longer and didn't leave very much clumping. I Also liked that the brush is not all one size it has a larger section and a smaller section so it's perfect for getting those smaller lashes closer to the corners of the eyes. The description says you only need one coat which you could get away with but I still like to use more than one. It was also listed as 11.99, but I'm sure you can find it on sale for cheaper so I definitely think it's worth the money.

For the fit me matte poreless foundation we were given a regular size bottle of the product. I was worried I might have gotten the wrong colour but once I actually tried it out I found it was a pretty good match. The coverage was more light for a natural look. Unfortunately for me I like a bit more heavier coverage as I have a bit of acne scarring. But I think for one of those days where you want a more natural look this is perfect! I actually believe I saw it in the shoppers flyer this week for about 6.99 so i think that is definitely a great value for the product you are receiving. The only one comment I had about the product was the bottle. I use another liquid foundation regularly and it has a spout (best way to describe it) so maybe I'm a bit spoiled, as this product doesn't I have to pour it out and sometimes too much product comes out.
