I used this dead blow hammer while reinstalling our cold air return after putting in new flooring, and it worked perfectly. It gave me enough force to seat everything properly without damaging the vent or the surrounding floor. The dead blow design really helped control the impact and prevented bounce-back, which made the job easier and more precise.
It felt well-balanced and comfortable to use, even when making repeated taps to get everything lined up just right. I especially appreciated that it allowed me to apply steady pressure without worrying about cracking or denting anything.
Overall, this hammer was exactly what I needed for a delicate but stubborn install. I’d definitely recommend it for flooring work, HVAC vents, or any project where you need controlled force without causing damage.
