This fig based primer by First Aid Beauty provides a matte base to apply make-up. It has a light lotion consistency and no noticable scent. It applies beautifully to the face without leaving any residue. It's both effective and incredibly gentle on the skin, I haven't noticed any reaction or increase in blemishes. This is a matte formula, and leaves the skin free of shine, making it inappropriate for those that want a dewey finish. It works wonderfully for those areas of the face that become oily throughout the day to prevent foundation splitting and movement. In my opinion this is the only primer for those that want a matte complexion with their make-up look, I've yet to find another that works nearly as well without causing complexion problems. Fabulous primer! -

This thick and creamy mask doubles as an exfoliation treatment thanks to the little sugar granules sprinkled within. It's best applied with gentle, circular motions on damp skin & allowed to sit for between 5 and 10 minutes. After rinsing I noticed my skin was softer, glowing, and had a moisturized feeling to it. The mask has a lightly floral scent that isn't overwhelming for facial use. It comes in a adequate sized jar that provides over 10 applications. Overall, I'm very impressed with this rinse off mask. It feels like a luxurious spa treat for my skin! -

The Peace Out Dullness facial pads are thick and luxurious one-step chemical exfoliation treatments. The active ingredients include 10% AHA, .4% BHA, 2% PHA, plankton, evodia fruit, glycolic, citric, tartaric, lactic, salicylic, and polyhydroxy acids. These pads are wonderfully effective because of this powerhouse blend of acids, yet is well balanced and not overly irritating to my skin. After using these once my skin is wonderfully soft and has a glowing, radiant appearance. Over long term use they've helped to diminish the appearance of my fine lines, and lowered the occurence of blemishes. I couldn't be happier with these! -

The Biolage Curl Defining Styling Butter is a hair cream with a jelly-like consistency that has an iridescent brown color. The cream is not sticky or tacky, and has a decent amount of slip to its texture. It doesn't take much of this brilliant product to be effective, just a cherry sized dollop is enough to disperse over my curls. This hair butter, while being composed of 98% natural ingredients, is as effective or better than other defining creams. It adds a beautiful luster to curls, and defines them into ringlets without weighing them down. It has a very light coffee scent, which is delicious and unexpected. This product is all around fantastic for those of us with curly textured hair! -

I adore the Bioderma Sebum Pore Refining Moisturizer! It's has a thinner consistency than most face creams, and is particularly effective on my combination skin. It has enough moisture to avoid irritating any dry spots, yet the sebum control aspect helps keep my oily spots in check. It has a lovely, light scent that isn't overwhelming, and absorbs quickly into the skin. It does tend to leave the skin matte, as is its purpose, so this product would not be recommended for those that prefer a dewy look to their skin. I've noticed it's very gentle as well, and hasn't caused any irritation or increase in blemish occurence. Overall, this is a great quality product & a total holy grail for those of us with combination skin types. -
