I found this skin therapy balm to be very effective as a moisturizer, it just didn’t do anything more for my eczema than another of their moisturizers that I often use (and is more expensive). I will try using it the next time I have a rash or bug bite to see if it is helpful with those issue. Overall it is a nice product, I just wish it had helped with the eczema more. -

I found this cleanser to be great for dry skin, and will definitely be using it as we head into the colder months here. It left my skin feeling clean and also hydrated. It says it’s also exfoliating, which was not my experience. But as a hydrating cleanser it works well and left my skin feeling great! -

I really like this serum from Lancôme. My first impression upon taking it out of the box was how gorgeous the bottle is. I’ve been using it for a couple weeks now, and my skin looks and feels great. It has a fragrance when you first put it in, but fortunately it doesn’t last long, I’m not fond of heavily scented products. I find it quite moisturizing as well, which not all serums are. This one works great for me and I’ll definitely be using it again! -

This one is great for the kiddos, and the added elements of the different lights meaning to get them to guess by doing different activities is a neat addition. I tried these patches on several pimples that popped up over the past few weeks. I cleaned and dried the area, and then put on a patch and left it over night. In the morning, there was a noticeable difference. The patches are good at drying out the pimple, which eliminates the white spot. But just be aware that the pimple doesn’t magically disappear over night, there was still a good red spot there in the morning. But by drying it out, I do believe that it speeds up the elimination of the pimples so that’s useful! -

I was very excited to receive this Vida by Paderno clad fry pan to try out! The size is perfect for what I cook most days, so it will definitely get lots of use. I use a lot of clad cookwear, though moreso pots than pans. My main pans have a non-stick coating, so it was a bit of an adjustment using this pan - just needed to read up on it a little. My first attempt was very successful, no sticking. Second time I had some of the sauce I was using burn onto the pan, and it was a bit harder to get off, even with washing it soon after use. A little trial and error getting used to something new, next time I’ll add that sauce at the end rather than trying to cook in it.
It says it is dishwasher safe, though it’s not the recommended cleaning method. Personally I stick to hand washing for pots and pans, so can’t speak to the dishwashing.
It distributes the heat well, all my food so far has come out great!
I also like that it can go in the oven - my non-stick pans can not, which has resulted in making more dishes for myself when I need to transfer things to a baking sheet/dish for that part of some recipes. Being all metal, this one can safely go in the oven for recipes that require that :)

I was a little worried the coffee would be watered down brewing over a cup full of ice as my keurig doesn’t have an iced coffee option. But it worked out great! The strength and flavour of the iced coffee we both very enjoyable. I prefer it black, other family members added cream and sugar to the cup with the ice and then brewed the coffee over it all, and were also very happy with the taste and strength of these pods. We will definitely be getting more for the summer ahead! -

We had a lot of fun playing this game on Father’s Day this past weekend! It’s a fun, easy game, and a lot of the options of would you rather are pretty funny. It was neat guessing what the person would choose - I don’t think we ever had a situation where no one got it right, so the chooser never scored 3 points. It’s seems like they’d have to chose what they don’t really think, which would defeat the purpose of the game…unless you’re playing with complete strangers and have no idea what they would pick. But it was fun to pondering the options, and hear people’s rationales for their choices lol -

We have often bought chapmans vanilla ice cream, along with other flavours, we were excited to try this new one. It was a treat indeed, and just the right size for 2. I would say it is a bit better than the usual vanilla, though comes with a heftier price tag as well. I would consider getting it occasionally, while sticking with the more economical option more often. With a family member that is allergic to nuts, we appreciate that chapmans has options made in a nut free facility, as that is hard to find. -
Aveeno Kids Sensitive Skin Face & Body Wash
This is a nice body wash for kids with sensitive skin. It wasn’t drying for the body or face, and just a mild scent. I have been very happy with several aveeno baby & kid’s products over the past few years, and this one will join the collection.
