I received a complimentary sample of this product in exchange for my honest review, which follows here. I have used Erborian CC Red Correct for a few years now, but this is my first experience with the brand's Centella Red Serum. The two products work well together, of course, but this is a lovely serum on its own, too. It feels very lightweight and silky on my skin, and it absorbs quickly. It doesn't really have a strong immediate effect on redness, but its ingredients work to calm and comfort the skin, hydrating it while soothing any irritation. It can take a few days or even a couple of weeks to really see the improvement, but I think I can see less redness and a slightly more even complexion. I wish the benefits were a little more dramatic or visible, but I am hopeful that it will get even better with time. I do think it's worth sticking with it to really give it a chance to help my skin, so I'll evaluate its performance once this bottle is empty before deciding whether or not to purchase it again. For now, I am pretty happy with this serum, especially when it's used alongside one of my very favorite products ever, my redness-reducing Erborian SPF CC cream!
Oh, almost forgot: All Erborian products are 100% cruelty-free, which is just another reason to love this brand!

I received a complimentary sample of this product in exchange for my honest review. But this stuff isn't new to me. I have been using it for a couple of years now, and I have no plans to change that any time soon. I have a naturally reddish complexion, even when there's no obvious cause of irritation or sensitivity. It's my biggest skin complaint, so I have tried quite a few products that promise to reduce that redness. Most have only a very slight effect, so I don't have high expectations for most new ones I use. But Erborian is my tried and true. It's easy to use; I just lightly tap it into my skin in the areas I want to treat. For me, that is usually my cheeks and the sides of my nose. I only need a little bit to get the right amount of coverage for those areas, and a little goes a long way. It isn't heavy or stiff or tacky-feeling. I generally use it after applying moisturizer and primer, and before my foundation, and I think it provides a very natural-looking finish...without the red! In fact, I've been known to use this product INSTEAD of foundation for low-key no-makeup days.
But these redness-relieving miracles aren't just cosmetic. The ingredients in this product can actually heal and improve the condition of your skin so there's less red to cover up. Centella asiatica (also known as Tiger Grass), for example, can help hydrate your skin, boost its radiance, and soothe any irritation. Best of all, not only is this stuff kind to my skin, it's kind to ALL animals because every Erborian product is 100% cruelty-free! They never test their products on animals, and they ensure that none of their suppliers do, either. I LOVE that! This product isn't cheap, but I do think it is fairly priced. Not only does it do double- and triple duty as an SPF and redness-correcting CC cream, but a single tube should last quite some time. And, of course, you won't have to waste your money trying other redness reducers because this one WORKS. I will continue to use it (forever, probably) and I definitely recommend it!

"Removes 10 years of yellow stains." That's what Colgate Optic White Renewal High Impact White Teeth Whitening Toothpaste promises. As a former smoker, that is a huge promise to me, and one I hoped Colgate could keep. I have tried a number of whitening products over the years, and while many of them work well in terms of whitening, most of them also cause tooth sensitivity. My mouth and tongue are also super sensitive, and most toothpastes formulas, whitening or not, are too irritating for me. Because of this, I was pretty apprehensive about trying this whitening toothpaste. However, I have been delighted to find that it doesn't irritate my tongue or mouth at all! It still has a nice, minty flavor, but it's not so strong that I can't handle it. Neither does it cause sensitivity in my teeth, which is fantastic! And here's the most important thing: it really works! It has been gradually lightening the color of my previously stained teeth. I don't know if it has removed ten years of stains yet, but my whole mouth feels so squeaky clean when I use it, so I will continue to do so. Highly recommended! -

I used this last weekend before I went outside to pull weeds all afternoon--a job that usually attracts many flying insect fans, just dying to get a bite out of me. I expected the same thing to happen, and I had some trepidation about skipping my usual bug spray to test this stuff. To my great surprise, it was as effective as my usual spray! No mosquito bites! It promises to protect the wearer from mosquitoes and ticks for up to 14 hours. I didn't get to put it to the test for quite that long, but it sure worked for the time I was out. There was no nasty smell to it, either, which I love! No skin irritation, no headache from a strong scent, and no bug bites! What's not to love?! -
Secret Aluminum Free Deodorant with Essential Oils Lavender + Lemon

I have used a few other 'natural' deodorants in the past. One thing I love about them is that they tend to have unique, more natural scents, and Secret with Essential Oils is no different. The scent I tried is Orange + Cedar, and it smells wonderful! It boasts 24-hour protection, and my experience seems to support that claim. I never noticed any bad underarm odor, even when I skipped application the second day. This Secret deodorant is free of parabens, aluminum, dyes, talc, and alcohol, and it was more effective than most other deodorants I have used. Great job, Secret!
One thing I love about the packaging is that the ingredient list has a list of all the simple names of the ingredients. For example, "cyclodextrin" is listed as an ingredient, but in the "Simple Name"column, it says "Odor-absorbing starch". It's just cool to be able to read and understand not only WHAT is in my deodorant, but also WHY and WHAT that stuff does. That is certainly something I have never seen on other deodorant packaging.
I am really enjoying this deodorant. I feel I can trust it to protect me from odor...WITHOUT endangering my health! That's the overall theme of this product: transparency and trust. The only criticism I have is that, while it is marketed for women, the scent is not necessarily very feminine, at least not to my nose. I do like the scent, but I feel it is a bit masculine. Not really a problem for me--I often wear men's colognes!--but I kind of prefer softer, slightly girlier scents for my underarm products. Just a personal preference. I will definitely recommend this deodorant to other women (and men), and I'll be checking out the other scents Secret with Essential Oils has to offer. Thank you, Secret, for bringing an affordable natural deodorant we can feel good about using to the deodorant aisle!

Kids, though, would probably have a great time playing this over and over, and I think it would also be great for brain development for young kids. Lots of fun, though, especially for families! -

I have used Skin MD Natural for several years now. While it is great for any part of your body, I mostly use every single day on my face. I LOVE its light feeling as I apply it! It's never greasy or heavy. I apply it after cleansing and using any targeted treatments, which helps sort of lock them in. And I love that it also serves as a light primer under makeup!
While I have been a fan--and I mean a HUGE fan!--for quite some time, I recently discovered another use for it that has saved the day. I use a wheelchair, and my elbows rest on my tires throughout the day. There's really no avoiding it. There aren't usually any ill effects (other than dirty sleeves sometimes), and I don't know what has changed, but something on or in the rubber of my wheels has really irritated the skin on my arms! I have a rash on both arms, right along where they rest on my tires. Since it is pretty obvious that it is a result of skin contact with *something*, I knew I needed to minimize that contact...but how?? It's still summer here, so long sleeves are out of the question. Then it occurred to me: I happen to have just bought a new bottle of my beloved Skin MD Natural! And it's a SHIELDING LOTION!! I have been applying my 'shield' now for less than 24 hours (reapplying every four or five hours), and there is already improvement! The rashy areas are less itchy, the bumps are receding, and the whole area is looking less red and irritated. I am thrilled!
I shouldn't be surprised; I KNOW what an amazing product it is. But still...YAY!! I LOVE Skin MD Natural! There are so many uses for it. Try it! It is sure to make you happy, one way or another!
