Snowy 🥶 weather is just around the corner. Perfect timing for @dapcanada and @thisisbutterly for sending over DAP AMP Advanced Modified Polymer All Weather Windows, Door and Siding Sealant.
We tested this out on our huge high ceiling window. Application was super easy, applied smoothly and did not have a strong odour like some sealant can. It can be applied to both wet and dry surfaces and dries quickly, in 30 minutes and it's rain ready! It also stays flexible and UV resistant. The only thing that would be better is if it came with a reusable cap. Other brands we used before does so we can easily save the unused portion for later.
So far it seems to be holding up nicely, no more drafty windows. I can't wait to see how it holds up tgis winter!

Pimple patches have been pretty popular for a while now. So I was delighted to receive Hero Mighty Patch Original in the mail from @herocosmetics_ca and @thisisbutterly. It is going to come in handy just before that time of the month. I finally get a chance to try these hydrocolloid patches and see what all the hype is about.
Firstly, it is extremely easy to use, just stick it on clean skin, leave them on for 6 to 8 hours and then peel them off when the patch turns white. It is supposed to gently absorb pimple gunk and supports a healing environment. I love that it works great to camouflage the redness during the day time. This is a nice concept, but unfortunately it is not as beneficial for me. I usually get small blemishes which I try to contain right away with tea tree oil. When that happens it usually dies down before it gets any bigger or to the pustule stage. This patch works best on stubborn and angry pimples that are more developed, have been popped and opened or on white heads. It takes all the gunk out and dries it out. So it is still good for me to have as backup for those once in a bluemoon emergency. It is also great to use when I am out and about or traveling. When I see one is developing I can pop it on to help camouflage and protect it until I get home. It would probably also work great for people who are pickers too.

I am a huge fan of Grown Alchemist and have tried many products of theirs, from skincare, bodycare to haircare. I currently have a few incorporated into my daily rotation of skincare. So I was ecstatic when @GrownAlchemist and @thisisbutterly gifted me their Sweet Orange, Cedarwood and Sage Hand Wash and their Vanilla and Orange Peel Hand Cream to test out.
Grown Alchemist makes quality products that are certified toxic-free, and uses 100% natural and certified organic ingredients. I have tried both the hand wash and hand cream for about 2 weeks and I have been loving it so far. The gel hand wash was very hydrating and gentle on the hands, a little goes a long way even though it doesn't have a crazy lather. My skin felt clean and softer without feeling dry or tight. It does have a stronger cedarwood and sage smell, which is more earthly and manly than I would prefer. But I didn't find it bothered me that much, since they used essential oil and not artificial fragrance.
The hand cream absorbed nicely into the skin without leaving any greasiness. My hands felt smoother and softer and well hydrated. Not only did it nourish my hands but my cuticles too. When both products were used in combination I noticed my hands were more refreshed, radiant and healthier.
Awesome job Grown Alchemist. 👏 Here's to another two products that I will be implementing in my daily routine. If you have the budget, I would definitely recommend you giving these two luxurious products a try.

I like to say WOW! I have been blown away by Lancome's newest patented innovation. Rénergie H.C.F. Triple Serum. Thanks to @thisbutterly and @lancomeoffcial for giving me the opportunity to test it out.
I have to say the results have been phenomenal! It's the first time in a long time that I can say I'm really blown away by a department store brand serum. It really does what it claims! One pump from the bottle infuses and activates the main active ingredient, Hyaluronic acid, Vitamin C+Nicinamide and Ferulic Acid. The serum does take a few more massage strokes for it to absorb and has more of a sticky feel. However, that pretty much goes away once it is fully absorbed. I noticed my skin immediately looked smoother and luminous with a firmer feel. After 2 weeks my skin looked more plump and my skin texture looked more refined. After a month my complexion is more even and fresher looking and my laugh lines looks more smoothed out.
I love that this is an all in one serum that addresses many skin concerns. However, I am not a fan of the perfumery fragrance as it does linger even after it has fully absorb. I also do not love the plastic bottle packaging as it is not environmentally friendly since it is not recyclable. The bottle looks aesthetically pleasing but feels cheap and it is also a bit pricey at $170/50ml. For those cons I would most likely not purchase a new bottle. But I would totally recommend this to anyone who is not scent sensitive and has more budget to spare, since it is suitable for all skin types, even sensitive.

I noticed as I've gotten older I get more frequent migraines and headaches. When that does happen I always try using any natural remedies before seeking medication. There are times when I am out and want some fast and effective relief. I was recently gifted Tylenol Ultra Relief from @tylenolcanada and @thisisbutterly to test out. I found that the tablet was extremely easy to swallow as it was sweet and coated. This is especially great if you are traveling or on the go, as you can take it without water. Thanks to the added Caffeine with Tylenol extra strength Acetaminophen it give me fast and effective relief in less than 12 mins! -

I have pretty dry skin on my body to the point that I get eczema in the winter. First of all I love that this skin therapy balm is hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic and free from fragrance, paraben, phthalates, sulfate, alcohol and dye! So far the skin therapy balm felt really soothing, hydrating and calming on my skin. It absorbs nicely into the skin without heavy or stickiness. Kept my skin well hydrated for 25 hours! Can't wait to see what if does for my skin in the winter as it is clinically proven to help 5 signs of eczema roughness, redness, flakiness, tightness and scaling. It's also dual purpose so it can temporarily relieve minor irritation rashes from poison ivy/oak/suma and insect bites.

I have pretty dry skin on my body to the point that I get eczema in the winter. Note that this exfoliator is actually made for the face but I tested it out on my body as the skin on my face only gets dry during the winter. First of all I love that this exfoliator is hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic and free from fragrance, paraben, phthalates, sulfate, alcohol and dye! It was really gentle on the skin as it uses polyhydroxy-acid, a non-abrasive liquid exfoliator. Also great for my bathtub and sink❤, no left over grits and bits to clean. My skin felt clean ,fresh, smooth and well hydrated. Revealing a fresher complexion.

A perfect pick me up, as it contains 65mg of caffeine. I really love that this has no artificial flavours or colours and uses only 1g of naturally sourced sweeteners with only 10 calories. This was my first choice in flavour. I really enjoyed the initial taste, a slight sweetness with a kick of tangyness. It was super refreshing and thirst quenching. However, I wasn't crazy about the weird after taste. Maybe it was because of the caffeine or just the flavour I chose? In any case I am still looking forward to try out the other flavours, especially the Malawi Mango, Mololai Coconut, and Kula Watermelon.

I was pleasantly surprised at how powerful this tiny device is. It does what it claims, removes hair instantly with ease. It gives you a close shave with no nicks, cuts and bumps. Gentle for all skin types, even sensitive skin. The angle trimmer head and built-in led light makes it super easy to reach hard to reach places. The instructions are also super easy to follow and even includes a battery and trimming attachment. This will be great foe traveling, as it is tiny and lightweight. Perfect for touching up while on vacation, the only thing is you can only use it dry as is not waterproof.

I really wish I could have a cup of coffee everyday because I love the taste. Unfortunately I can't, I am one of those people who have a hard time sleeping if I have too much caffeine. So any form of coffee is like a treat for me. Thanks to @vanhoutte for treating me to their new dark chocolate coconut medium roast brew over ice coffee. I've never had my coffee black so I was extremely happy I got to try their flavored version. When brewed it has a nice dark chocolate and coconut aroma, which tastes robust and smooth with a nice balance of coconut. I also added some milk, as I like it creamy.
I love that the arabica coffee beans are 100% responsibly sourced and that the K-cup pods are recyclable in select locations. All you have to do is peel, empty and recycle. I, however, am not a huge fan that it uses artificial flavours and would love that is was organic and fair-trade.
