I don’t even know where to start. So let’s start from the beginning. I am so excited to review these wipes from the Josie Maran line. From when I was a teenager till now I’ve always immersed myself in fashion magazines. I remember Josie’s name from one of the top models from back in the day. She’s been the face for Maybelline and other major brands. She’s now come out with her own line. Typically I shy away celebrity endorsed products because we all know they aren’t as involved in it as they lead us to believe. I was drawn to this line because of it’s natural ingredients. As I get older I realize the importance of how chemcials especially toxic chemicals affect our hormones, our skin and more. Josie Maran stresses on NOT using toxic formulas. You may be surprised but many name brand products do use chemicals.
Josie Maran’s wipes and practically all her products do not use:
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Synthetic Fragrance
- Synthetic Dye
- Petro-Chemicals
- Phthalates
The femanine pink packaging features polar bears and a portion of the proceeds go towards the National Defense Council’s Polar Bear SOS initiative to help protect these endangered animals. As soon as I take a wipe out I fall in love with the refreshing slightly citrusy fragrance. It’s heavenly. IT SMELLS SO GOOD!! I can’t stop sniffing it as I wipe off my face. I soon start rubbing it all over my neck ha ha. It does a great job on removing makeup and grime off your mug, somehow it doesn’t strip away your face and dry your skin. I have tried other wipes and they always leave my face dry and dull. These are so refreshing. On the website the wipes have aloe vera, chamomile, cucumber and vitamin E. No added fragrance. It’s just how it is naturally scented! That’s what I’m talking about. I can’t stand the artifical fragrances and typically they make my sensitive skin irritated.

I have to admit I’m not a big fan of lipstick, I never found it moisturizing on my lips compared to lipgloss. I am a huge LOVER of lipgloss, especially neutral and muted pinkish mauve shades so when I got this bright hot pink number called Bambolina from Tractenberg & Company it scared me. It was definitely eye catching. At first glance it was super bright so needless to say I was a bit hesitant to try it so I kept putting it off on the review. Today I finally took it out for a spin and it was a big sigh of relief, the color was flattering once I put it on! This line of lipstick is made from Argan oil and Vitamin E so it’s moisturizing as well as colorful.
The lipstick feels incredibly lightweight on my lips without drying out my lips. It’s somewhere between matte and shine…with a tinge of shine. I definitely like shine on my lips.
The lipstick went on smoothly and evenly. If you’re looking for a lightweight lipstick that has a great amount of coverage and color. I would love to try out the other colors in this line of lipstick. The packaging is simply to die for. It’s got a pretty mauve pink colored mirrored case. The case feels great to the touch. It is definitely much higher end than most packaging other lipsticks are in. This ain’t your drugstore type of lipstick. The lipstick case is sleek, LOVE IT! I wish all lipsticks were packaged as pretty as Josie’s. Girl knows how to really package her products well! You can tell she put a lot of care and effort in the product and in it’s design.
I am truly a huge fan of Josie Maran’s line. Their motto is Luxury with a Conscience. Many lines in the luxury category often lack in the conscience part. They use toxins and/or utilize animal testing. I love how Josie Maran’s products take the environment into consideration.

It was more than plenty to cover the entire face, forehead and neck area. Do not forget the neck area. I love that there’s no fragrance. Not only do I have sensitive skin but my nose is sensitive as well. Any strong scent can send me off to a sneezing frenzy. This lightweight lotion was silky smooth to the touch and very hydrating indeed. My skin just absorbed it all. It left my skin feeling supple and moisturized. This lotion would be GREAT for the summers when you don’t feel like using greasy or heavy (rich) lotions. It’s very light. For harsh east coast winters that we’ve been experiencing I needed a richer cream for night time. So I just added a few dabs of a richer cream. These winters have been so drying, it’s terrible for the skin. So lube up folks!

I used just ONE pump of the gel and lathered it onto my face. After gently massaging it into my skin, it foamed up. I washed my face with luke warm water. Immediately I notice a major difference in my skintone. I can see a change in the appearance of my skin once I dried my face off. My skin felt so refreshed and cleansed. The texture of my face feels smooth and my pores feel slightly tightened. I like it when my skin feels squeaky clean without feeling dried out. Next, I followed it up with the Oil Free Nightly Hydration.

By now you've probably heard of the CLARISONIC brush? If not, you've been living under a rock. I love my Clarisonic. Apparently, I’m not the only one. These bad boys are selling like hot cakes everywhere you look! It comes with facial cleansers and lotions. The cleanser is gentle for my sensitive skin. There's even several brush heads, one is for regular skin and one is for sensitive skin. It's very easy to use. Just plug it into the charger and it lasts for months. I haven't recharged it in its dock since January. I like that it's portable. I can just pack it in my luggage or gym bag. I use it in the shower, it's like second nature to bring it into the shower with me. It sloughs off dead skin cells and allows new ones to grow and emerge. My brother recently got one because he's got major acne issues. He loves his, he brings his to work and stores it in his desk cabinet.
