I was one of the lucky gals who got a free sample to trial for Chick Advisor. My experience of using the foot mask was better than the hand masks. It did not feel as uncomfortable and I learned to warm them up before putting them on. The lotion itself is nice - unscented, thick and absorbs quickly. My dry cracked heels came out about the same as they would with a treatment of my favourite foot lotion. I contemplated cutting them open and applying to my dry shins because it helped my dry hands so much! I don’t know the price point on these but if I had to rate what I’d be willing to pay, I’d probably pay up to $5 for one set of foot masks, especially if they were dry all over. -

I received a free sample through Chick Advisor and was excited to try it out! I settled into bed with my gloves and a stylus (because hands free with nothing to do for ten minutes sounded tough lol) The instructions were easy to follow. I slid my hands in... it was cold! And then noticed the little adjustable tabs and tightened one. All good on my first hand. Warmed up the second glove between my palms and put my second hand in. Much harder to do the tab wearing a gloved hand but I did it. Then the wait began... it was a little uncomfortable to start and felt like I had a hand covered in lotion in a plastic bag. But the ten minutes flew by and the lotion absorbed nicely. Hands have stayed moisturized since then (they were quite dry before the treatment). Given the results, I’d consider it again. -

I decided to try this to return the love to Nude by Nature for sending me a full sized sample of the primer last year. It was a great product so I searched out the advertised special at shoppers drug mart. For $15, you get a brush and small jar of mineral powder. The coverage this provides is as good as rodan & fields and Pur Minerals. I prefer pressed mineral powders but I would buy this again.
One tip I’ll give you is to use a firmer brush than the one that comes with it, especially if you want more coverage. The brush is nice but too soft. Dip your brush in it, then tap on side of lid or jar to shake off excess. Can’t wait to try more of their products!

I’m in love with this mix! A friend recommended it and I finally tried it today. I could have ate the entire batch at once. I was afraid it would fail because I didn’t have milk or eggs to follow the recipe (I used water and flax eggs instead) but they came out perfect. They are savoury enough without toppings so I have cut one in half to use for a sandwich later. They are nice and crispy on the outside. They don’t brown, typical of gf food, so it takes a bit of experimenting to get the inside cooked nicely. My advice is to use a little less batter so they aren’t as thick. I can’t wait to mak these again! -
