I received both the CND Vinylux Weekly Polish and Top Coat for free for reviewing purposes and must say I am thoroughly impressed with the duo! Although I found this top coat to dry slower than most, it is extremely long wearing and delivers its promised 'gel-like' shine you would get at a salon, without the use of a uv curing lamp. The consistency, smell and formula itself reminds me a lot of the seche vite top coat, and its almost as if a layer of plastic dries over your nails to protect the colour underneath. I would definitely recommend this and the polish alike, and will be repurchasing! #gotitfree -

I tried CND Vinylux for the first time as I had never heard of this brand and it certainly lived up to my expectations! With the promise of the long-lasting properties and high shine of a gel without the need of a UV light cure- it certainly delivered. It lasted on me for a bit over an entire week without chipping, and kept it's shine. Would definitely recommend the shade, 'field foxes' (a super classy beige) #gotitfree -

I love Colourpop and this- second only to their liquid lipsticks- is their BEST product. The super shock highlighters are downright amazing from the quality, formula, pigmentation and value. For $8 you get the quality of a high-end cruelty free product that arguebly applies better than any high-end highlighter available. The signature super-shock formulation gives the highlighter a distinct 'softness' upon application and gives off an almost wet-sheen look to the face. The pigments are so finely milled and luxurious in all coloupop product and is no exception here- all the highlighters are super pigmented, super pearlescent, shimmery and sparkly. You really absolutely cannot go wrong with these highlighters, they are so worth the money and effort to order online. -

I'm loyal to ABH dipbrow pomade, I can't lie, but I think I have found a new favourite that might be comparable..perhaps better than dipbrow. Benefit kabrow has a harder texture than the dipbrow and lets you apply more product without having to worry about having horrible dark sharpie brows. The texture allows you to really mimick brow hairs, and sets almost immediately. At times, when applied correctly, you don't even need to brush the brows out. I use a sephora #20 brow precision brush with this pomade, and would recommend any other bow brush rather the one that comes on the lid (just don't use it trust me). -

The new formulation is much more effective than the last, and had improved on its moisturizing properties without sacrificing the same packaging, taste and scent. The new formulation left my lips looking hydrated, smooth and supple. A big improvement from their previous formula that I felt dried out the lips more than moisturizing them, and made them less supple and more prone to cracking and chapping. With the addition of jojoba and coconut oil, the new organic formulation is much more effective at moisturizing and penetrating deep into the lip membrane and tissue. A look for me is never fully complete without falsies, and after having tried many lash glues from all different brands ranging from ardell, kiss, revlon etc- Duo has always been my favourite and the most reliable in terms of effectiveness and availability.
I've used the dark lash glue from duo and was my favourite for quite some time. My only complaint about the majority of lash glues is the packaging and ease of use. Often times I find myself either applying too much or too little product on the lash or squeezing out too much product. The advantage about this brush-on glue is definitely how easy it is to use, there's absolutely no mess or clean-up and works like a dream. While I finish up the last touches on my makeup, I brush on the glue on the band of my lashes as I apply lipstick or highlighter or whatever it may be, and by the time I go ahead to apply them the glue is perfectly tacky and allows the lash to go on comfortably and quickly. This is honestly the best lash glue i've ever used and highly recommend it and will be repurchasing!

After all the DECIEM hype online, I finally decided to go out and buy a wide range of products from what a few of their brands had to offer. I picked up a variety of items from The Ordinary including serums, moisturizers and oils. I picked up Niacinamide after watching a deciem haul on youtube and was pleasantly surprised at the results it gave after just a few uses. The serum itself is thicker than most, comparable to a gel-type consistency and has a slight tackiness when applied to the skin. It takes a few minutes to fully absorb and penetrate into the skin but is definitely worth the wait. This serum has transformed my skin appearance and texture in a matter of weeks. I noticed that my pores were much more refined, redness and congestion were reduced from my t-zone and cheek area and any hormonal/cystic acne that was showing through were also reduced! This is definitely something that I will be repurchasing again and is worth the money considering the quality of both product and packaging. -

I've heard a lot about DECIEM, especially the brand The Ordinary after all the online hype about their products that are both affordable and effective. Like many others I decided to try The Ordinary out and bought a bushel of products to test out. One of my first pick-ups was this moisturizer that I heard many rave about and hoped would live up to my expectations. Low and behold, this moisturizer is one of the best i've ever used! Personally having oily/combo skin I have trouble finding something that will moisturize my skin but at the same time not build up on my face, feel to thick or add to the sebum that accumulates throughout the day. This moisturizer has a thicker consistency than most facial lotions I've tried and is more of a cream if anything- though it doesn't leave a greasy feel on my skin and absorbs quite quickly! As for as I can tell it wears nicely underneath makeup and hasn't caused any breakouts for me so far. For the price and amount, you're getting a quality product that is definitely worth the try. -

My favourite foundation for everyday wear. Its lightweight, breathable and has sheer-light coverage. I bought the larger of the two available bottles and it has lasted me over a year and still has plenty left. I use a real techniques foundation brush to buff the product onto my face and it gives a nice light and luminous effect. I purchased the shade C4 and its a perfect match for me. I usually wear the foundation alone with a bit of undereye concealer and translucent powder. My favourite mac product, i just wish they didn't test on animals! -
