I didn’t realize how much a fire feature could elevate our backyard until I got the Vermont Castings LP Gas Fire Column.
First off, the size is perfect. It doesn’t take up a ton of space, which was a big deal for me since our backyard isn’t huge. It fits in so nicely without feeling crowded, and honestly, I could see this working just as well on a deck or even a balcony.
One thing I really appreciate, especially as a mom is how safe it is around kids. The fireproof glass enclosure stays cool to the touch and acts as a barrier, so I don’t have to constantly stress about little ones getting too close to the flame.
The LED halo lighting is such a nice touch too. It gives off this soft, modern glow that makes everything feel a little more elevated, especially in the evenings. It’s not just about heat. It just really adds to the whole vibe.
Speaking of heat, it does an amazing job on chilly days. We’ve been able to stay outside way longer than usual, and it’s quickly become our go-to spot to wind down. And yes… it also doubles as the perfect setup for homemade s’mores, which my family is very happy about.
It’s also super easy to use. The electronic ignition means no fuss. Just press and go, and you’ve got an instant flame. No struggling, no waiting around.

As someone from the Caribbean, I take my hot sauce very seriously and this Passion Fruit Rude Mama? Yeah… she speaks directly to my soul. That sweet, tangy tropical flavour mixed with the heat instantly took me back home.
The balance is honestly what got me. She’s spicy, don’t get it twisted, but it’s not overpowering. You still get to fully enjoy the passion fruit, the layers of flavour, all the little notes doing their thing. It’s giving heat and taste, which is exactly what a good hot sauce should do.
Once I tried it, it was a wrap. I’ve been putting it on everything!
If you love a hot sauce that brings flavour first and still delivers that kick, this one is it. Sweet, spicy, tropical goodness in a bottle.

It is thick and rich, but it melts into your skin effortlessly, it has shea butter that does wonders for the skin, and it smells absolutely amazing. Every time I use it my skin is left feeling soft and supple, and looking like I'm glowing from the inside out. It even worked wonders on dried cracked heels! I can't say enough about how much I love this body cream and I'll be using it again and again - this is my new go-to.
