I had the opportunity to try DAP ALEX ULTRA Advanced Latex Sealant, for some DIY projects at home. I've used different DAP products in the past, but mostly for patch and repair work on a wall. This however is an indoor/outdoor latex sealant, that's both water resistant and low shrinkage, so I thought it would be perfect to re-caulk around my exterior door. I'm really glad I did. The sealant was super smooth to apply on the interior of my door, but I did have some messier bits around the exterior brick. Would have been best if I had cut the tip a little smaller for those nooks and crannies. In the end, I was able to smooth the sealant out fine. A big bonus for me, is that there was literally no odour and clean up was quick. I've already completed some other projects! Super happy with DAP ALEX ULTRA. -

Bai Antioxidant Infusion Ipanema Pomegranate, and it didn't disappoint. I've tried some of Bai's other flavours, but the pomegranate is one of my faves. 🫶🏽 It's a little tart, but sweet, and still super refreshing. I love that the bottle only contains 10 calories and 1g of sugar, so there's no feelings of "why did I do that?", later in the day. 😳 And I'm not big on my caffeine intake, so I was a little concerned how this would affect me. At only 65mg of caffeine per bottle, I didn't feel any significant difference after consumption. I recommend trying the pomegranate flavour, and I've totally bought it again since!

I had the chance to try Nair’s Prep and Smooth Face Hair Remover - here are my thoughts. It’s been a while since I’ve used a depilatory cream, but I found this applicator really easy and smooth to use. Just squeeze the tube, and the cream will slowly come out of the applicator end. The Prep and Smooth Face is specifically designed for your upper lip, chin and cheeks. I found that I still needed to use my fingertip to get in closer to the corners of my upper lip/mouth, but it did the trick. As a reference, I have thinner, dark hair. After about 6 minutes my peach fuzz was gone, and after about 7-8 minutes a few coarser hairs were good to go. The product claims to smooth and exfoliate - smooth, yes, but I didn’t find that it exfoliated for me. All in all, I’m happy with the results and have not dealt with any irritation. -

I had the opportunity to try Chapman’s Salty Caramel Crunch ice cream from their new Super Premium Plus collection. One word - DECADENT! This icecream ticks off all of the boxes. It’s the perfect mix of sweet and salty! It was still super creamy, even though it’s packed full of butter toffee pieces and caramel cookie bits. Yum! The only downside is that it’s a 500ml container - we definitely wanted more! :) I highly recommend giving the Salty Caramel Crunch ice cream a try! You won’t be disappointed! -

I had the opportunity to try Colgate Total Whitening Toothpaste Gel Repair Reverse Refresh. Colgate has always been our go to with toothpaste, and this product works great! It’s packaging says it will give you a “Whole Mouth Clean” and it delivered. I felt like my teeth, tongue, and mouth overall, just felt cleaner and fresher. I noticed that it left my breath nice and minty longer than our other toothpaste. And it’s always a plus for me when my toothpaste has a whitening factor. I would definitely recommend. -

I’ve been using it for a week and have noticed that my skin feels more hydrated. I liked that it left my skin looking fresh and dewy. However, I preferred applying it at night, as I felt that it was a bit oily with my makeup application. Overall, a great serum. -

I had the opportunity to try MAYBELLINE New York Lash Sensational® Sky High Washable Mascara. Its not my favourite mascara but it has some good qualities. I really got some great length after two coats of coverage. And after three to four, I really had a nice volume effect. The wand is skinnier, so you’re able to get into the corners and your lower lashes well. However, I didn’t like that in order to get the “sky high” effect I was looking for, I had to apply a few coats - with that can come clumping, so you’ve got to be precise. Also, it says that it’s a washable mascara but I was disappointed that I always had remnants of it after washing my face with both a water rinse cleanser and a micellar cleansing water. To me, it’s good, but not great. -

I had the opportunity to try GARNIER Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 with Vitamin-C. I love a quick and easy cleanser! This Micellar Cleansing Water really cleaned my skin with no need to rinse. It removed most of my makeup, but had a hard time with my mascara. It’s targeted to users with dull, sensitive skin, but I was still pleasantly surprised that it actually brightened up my complexion. All in all, it’s a great option for a micellar cleansing water. -

I had the opportunity to try THAYERS Alcohol-Free Witch Hazel Unscented Face Toner, and it works like a gem! Thayers Natural Remedies have been in business since 1847, so you know they’re doing something right. :) I loved that the Witch Hazel and Aloe formula toner is unscented - I hate having a perfumey smell lingering on my face. I used the toner daily after washing my face and was happy that it helped to cleanse and pick up any missed makeup. I have combination skin, and can get quite oily in the summertime. This really helped to keep that in check. I have also used it sporadically throughout the day for a refresher. All around, I feel like my skin looks more balanced and refreshed. This is my new staple! -

I had the opportunity to try GARNIER’s SkinActive Moisture Bomb Beauty Sheet Mask with Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin C, and I absolutely loved it! I applied this mask on clean skin, after a morning shower. The mask itself was easy enough to unfold and place on my face, but I do wish that the eye holes were a bit larger. The mask takes a quick 15 minutes to do it’s magic, and it did not disappoint. After removing it, I happily massaged the excess serum into my face and neck. The difference on my skin was night and day! This mask was an instant wake up to my face. I was literally glowing! I loved the sheet mask, I’ll 100% use it and I totally recommend it! -
