I have wanted to dye my hair forever but always thought it would be a hassle to do it. I have red hair, but wanted to see what I would look like with brown hair, so when I saw how simple the new Clairol foam was to use, I knew I had to try it. I chose the #4 brown shade, and it turned out gorgeous, if I do say so myself ;)
Being new to this, I wasn't sure what to expect. Mixing the colour was easy and all you have to do is squeeze the bottle to get the foam out. Get a handful of it and massage it into your hair like shampoo... although I found it was easier to squeeze the foam directly onto my hair then massage it in. The smell was quite strong (I understand thats how all hair dye's are), but if you open a window, its fine. Another plus is that you don't have to use numerous boxes - my friend told me to get 2 boxes because my hair is very thick and just past shoulder-length, but I didn't even use the whole bottle! The coverage that you get from the foam is wonderful. The conditioner that you put on your hair afterwards is fantastic - my hair has NEVER felt so soft or been so shiny!
The only downside to this was that I ended up with quite a bit of dye on my forearms that was difficult to get off.... but that's my own fault for not wiping off my arms after massaging the foam into my hair ;)
The Clairol website had answers to a few of the questions that I had before I used the dye, but there's also a toll free number and a facebook page that they are very quick to comment on when you post :) Their customer support is great, and they also offer a satisfaction guarantee on this product.
I received a coupon from Clairol to try this product for free - and I'll definitely be buying it again!

I always struggle with my hair - its so thick and wavy that I can never make it look nice on my own. I bought this pin because I was tired of the ponytail that I always end up wearing and wanted something that looked different and nice, girly. This pin is super easy to use and is very comfortable in my hair. It takes only a few seconds for me to put my hair up now, and I love how it looks! I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants an easy fix for their bad hair days! -

Last month I received an email to visit a website where I could find out just what kind of Pantene shampoo is right for my hair. After answering the questions, I was told that the new medium-thick frizzy to smooth shampoo would be ideal for me. I received my sample and tried it for the few days that it lasted.... then went out and bought a full size one. Its now been 2 weeks, and I really don't like this shampoo. You don't have to use much of it as it lathers up well when you're washing your hair and it smells great. It seems to rinse out easily, but once my hair dries it feels crunchy and gross, as if there's still lots of shampoo in my hair. Brushing out the crunchiness just leaves my hair feeling greasy. Don't think I'll be recommending or buying this one again. -

I thought that this product would be wonderful! I love the bounce fabric softener sheets and thought that the bar was a fantastic idea. I bought the 2 month bar and after a few weeks of use I found that it really didn't do the same job as the sheets were doing. The clothes didn't smell as fresh and the static... it does absolutely nothing to get rid of the static in our clothes. It was also leaving oily stains on our clothes which didn't come out when rubbed with bar soap like they do with the dryer sheets. I am now using the sheets as well as the bar so that our clothes smell clean and don't stick to us :) I will not be replacing the dryer bar once its done!
Oh, and they say this is a timesaver in the commercials... really, how long does it take to throw a dryer sheet into the dryer with your laundry?!

I love this lipstick! I bought it in mulberry, and its wonderful! This is the only lipstick that I can put on and don't have to worry about retouching it through the day. It stays on through meals, drinking, everything! I don't find it to be sticky, and its not a problem to put it on and wait for the colour to dry before putting on the topcoat. All in all, a product that I don't mind paying a bit more for because it actually does what it promises to do :) -
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser

I bought this one when I was at my wits end trying to keep our dark green bathtub clean! I have tried other cleaners, but find that they leave a film or streaky marks on the tub, and you have to really scrub at it, leaving your back and arms sore and achy. I saw this one at Wal-mart and thought ok, I'll try it. I got home, turned on the water and just gave the tub a quick wipe down with the magic eraser and then rinsed it with the showerhead. I figured that by giving it a light clean, I would know how inefficient it was without breaking my back :) Anyways, I was pleasantly surprised to find that that little bit of a clean cleaned almost ALL of the soap scum on the tub! And it didn't leave a film or any residue at all!!! I can honestly say that I will be stocking up on these bathroom scrubber magic erasers, and using them to keep my tub shiny and clean! You hardly have to scrub at all :) Thank you Mr. Clean!!! -

I was really skeptical about trying this one, and when I saw the price I said no way! Then I received a small sample through a website. It was the sports scented one, and right away I liked the scent. When I read the information I was suprised to see that you put it on at night, and wondered how that would work. Well, I tried it and I have to admit - it works incredibly! I absolutely LOVE this deodorant! I have tried other clinical strength deodorants and I broke out from them, but this one... no problems whatsoever! The only problem is remembering to put it on at night! I find that putting it on in the morning doesn't reduce the effectiveness but leaves white marks on your clothes. Simply put, this deodorant really holds up well in all the heat & humidity that we've had. And I've since gotten over the price and bought it in the sports scent and powder scent :) Its wonderful! -

Thank you to the Chick Advisor ladies for choosing me to be one of the lucky ones to attend the Womanity Perfume Party and review this perfume! When we first walked into the room, I was amazed at how wonderful it smelled.... then was told that it was the perfume! I have to admit that when I first put it on, it was not like any other perfume that I have ever tried. I was disappointed that it didn't smell as pretty on me as it did in the room :( But after a few minutes it mellowed into a great scent that got me a few compliments when I was out yesterday :) Its not sweet and overpowering like some perfumes, but is so light and lasts all day.
P.S. Thank you for the samples - my next mission is to win over my friends and make them all LOVE this perfume!

I received the sun-ripened raspberry foam burst body wash from a friend. She knows that raspberry is one of my favourite scents so picked this up for me. To be honest, the scent doesn't really smell like raspberry. On the bright side of things, you only have to use a little, as the gel really lathers up well. Could also be used as a shaving foam. But if you can't get past the smell, don't try it!
P.S. I went back to the store and bought the warm vanilla scented version... much better!

I've recently put on a bit of weight, and its not easy to find clothes that fit nicely. A friend recommended that I try Addition Elle. Some of the clothes are trendy and very nice, but the prices are kind of high. My friend got a shirt that I loved for $19.99... and one the same style at Addition Elle cost $49.99! The t-shirts seem quite thin, and I think that one wash would wreck them. I did, however, find that the selection of bras and underwear was wonderful! Its hard to find pretty and sexy bras when you're bigger, but they have a fantastic selection! Only problem is that they are $50 each... unless you can find something on the clearance rack where they are pretty much all $29.99. If you shop at the Cambridge location, the service is wonderful :) The girls there were wonderful - they made sure that I found the proper fit of bra and were not at all pushy. They didn't follow me around the store asking if they could help every two minutes, and they were very attentive when I did ask for help. All in all, a productive day because I found bras that I actually love! I'll definetly go back to the store for that! -
