The Panoxyl PM balancing renewal moisturizer had a bit of an odd scent, not like typical moisturizer. I like the consistency, which was a medium thickness creamy lotion. Unfortunately as soon as I put this on my cheek it started to sting and my skin became slightly red so I had to wash it off. I regularly use the main active ingredients and do not generally have sensitive skin, so I'm not sure what could have caused the irritation. I did not use any other skin products while I was trying this, so it was not due to a cross-reaction or anything like that.

The Panoxyl oil control moisturizer feels much more like a mineral sunscreen than a moisturizer. It has a very thick sunscreen-like consistency, which was quite difficult to spread over the skin. It has a very dry matte finish which I actually prefer because my skin is quite oily, but it definitely does not feel moisturizing whatsoever. It has a medicated scent rather than the usual sunscreen fragrance. Even with use quite close to the eyes it did not cause any eye irritation throughout the day which was great. It definitely has great oil control throughout the day but is quite drying. Overall I would use this as a sunscreen but would use a separate moisturizer underneath.

I did not like that the packaging of the Panoxyl clarifying exfoliant requires you to have to peel off the label to see the application instructions, making it cumbersome to do. It has a light watery consistency and a surprisingly strong scent since salicylic acid products don't generally have much scent to them. I do like how this applied to the skin and it absorbs well. I didn't notice much of a difference in my skin after using this for a week, but it was quite gently and non-irritating so I would continue using it to see if it has more long-term effects.

The Panoxyl acne wash (4% benzoyl peroxide cream) works differently than other cleansers in that you apply it first then wait 2 minutes before washing it off, and to be honest I don't really have the time or patience for something like that in my routine (conditioner is hard enough). The product itself has a very strong chemical scent, kind of bleach-like, and an oily lotion-like consistency. Given the harsh smell I was surprised that this did not irritate my skin and did not make my skin feel dry. I did not notice much positive difference in my skin either though. Overall I would not use this just due to the hassle of the application process and the strong bleach-like smell.

I received the YSL Lashclash Mascara free for from Butterly in exchange for my honest review.
On first impression, the packaging looks nice but is a bit thick, making it a bit awkward to hold while applying. The brush itself also feels a bit too large, making it difficult to apply with precision. It took several layers to fully coat my lashes and the result was a little grainy but overall pretty good for a waterproof mascara. The extra volume was quite good but there wasn't as much added length as I would have liked. After letting it dry, I splashed my face several times with water and then dabbed my eyelashes dry with a tissue and only the tiniest black specks came off, there was no running or smearing of the mascara at all, so it is quite good as a waterproof mascara. However, it was also very difficult to remove the mascara at the end of the day- I double cleansed with a cleansing balm followed by makeup remover face wash and that wasn't enough, I had to do another round with micellar water and face wash, and there was still some mascara clinging on. Overall, this is a great waterproof mascara but because it was so difficult to wash off even with oil-based cleansers, I would save it for occasions that I really needed my mascara to be waterproof.

The flawless hair remover for eyebrows (blush) was very sleek and aesthetic (I kept confusing it for my mascara, so it definitely blends in well on the vanity) and is very comfortable to hold, but unfortunately those are the only good things about it.
I really wanted to like this as an alternative to plucking my eyebrows but it was just completely ineffectual. You have to pull your skin very taut for it to work, and even then it requires multiple passes over the same area of skin to remove any hair- and even after multiple passes there were still hairs remaining. I tried it a couple more times but it just does not work well and you still have to pluck the several remaining hairs, making it pretty useless. I could not recommend this to anyone unfortunately.

I received the Lancôme Rénergie H.C.F. Triple Anti-Aging Serum complimentary for testing purposes.
First off, I like that this comes in a vacuum pump-style container which keeps the active ingredients from degrading, especially since it contains vitamin C which is otherwise prone to oxidation. The serum itself has a very light pleasant scent and a light-to-medium lotion consistency. On initial application it gives skin a subtle dewy sheen but it absorbs quickly. I haven't noticed any difference in my skin yet, but it's still early and I would expect to see results in a few weeks given the ingredients (especially the vitamin C, niacinamide, and ferulic acid).

I received the Aveeno Tone + Texture renewing night cream complimentary for testing purposes.
I like that the product comes in a jar, making it easy to take as much product as needed and allows you to actually use up all the product without difficulty. The night cream itself is completely unscented, which is great for those who do not like fragrance in their skincare, although I personally prefer it when my body cream is scented. It has a relatively thick consistency but is quite easy to spread over skin and seems to absorb quickly. Right after application skin feels plump and hydrated, but I couldn't notice any difference in the morning, and did not notice any lasting differences in my skin. Overall, it is a solid body night cream.

I really like the idea of this product, with the combination of vitamin C and sunscreen, since you do need to use sun protection when using a vitamin C product as it sensitizes your skin. I do use a sunscreen daily anyway, but this is a great idea for people who want a quicker and easier skin routine in the morning. The product is a bit thick and leaves an oily residue, so I do have to use some powder on top. Also important to note that the scent is quite strong, for people that are sensitive to fragrances. It left my skin feeling hydrated and plump. Overall I do like this product and would recommend it for people who prefer a simple skincare routine.

First off, I really liked the packaging- it comes in a pretty cardboard cylindrical tube that you push up from the bottom. I like that it's recyclable. The product is easy to apply but it does need to be rubbed in or else there is some residue. It has a very pleasant scent. Unfortunately it only protects against odor for a couple of hours. I do like that it is natural and without aluminum, but the odor protection is not strong enough for me to continue using.
