I had not used Aveeno products prior to partaking in this review club offer. I am not a big fan of scented products, but quite enjoyed the sweet subtle scent of vanilla. The texture is a little thicker than I am use to but it when on evenly and absorbed nicely, leaving my skin feeling silky soft. I like that is comes in a jar so it is easy to use every last drop.
The only thing I don’t like about it is the price, retailing at $14.99 at my local store I will be sticking to some of my other favourite much lower priced lotion

I received the Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Yogurt Body Wash, Vanilla and Oats from the Chickadvisor product review club for free for my honest option.
I had not used Aveeno products prior to partaking in this review club offer. I found this body wash to be a good product. The wash had a very pleasant vanilla scent and left me feeling clean and refreshed. The wash lathered up very nicely and rinsed off without leaving behind any film or residue. When I got out of the shower my skin felt silky soft.
Overall while I was very happy with this product it is not one I will buy. At my local store it sells for $12.50 and I can get other brands that I like just as much that have a higher volume for a third of the price.

I keep protein bars in my bedside table for those weekday mornings I don’t have time to make breakfast before leaving for work and those weekend mornings I wake up hungry but don’t want to get out of bed yet.
I did not enjoy this bar, in fact I was only able to eat half of one. I am a fan of lemon poppy seed and while I enjoyed the lemon flavour over all the bar was too sweet. I also not did not like the texture. Holding the bar it felt lighter than I was expecting and looking at the photo on the wrapper I was expecting something similar to a lemon loaf. It was a little like a lemon loaf, but a stale one.
This is not a product I will be buying.

I keep protein bars in my bedside table for those weekday mornings I don’t have time to make breakfast before leaving for work and those weekend mornings I wake up hungry but don’t want to get out of bed yet.
I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this bar. It was much lighter and softer than I was expecting; kind of like a Three Musketeers Bar. I love chocolate and peanut butter and the flavour of this bar was perfect. The bar was nice and creamy and not too sweet. It kept me going for the morning until lunch time.
This is definitely a product I will keep on hand for when you need a little something to keep you going.

Laundry:
Was a mix of whites and brights.
Stains:
- Something red on a white tanktop
- Melted chocolate
- Blood
Washing:
As I was doing a small load I filled the cup with OxiClean™ Colour Shield Laundry Stain Remover Powder up to the first line. Washing was done on two cycle mode with the first cycle, along with detergent using warm water and the second cycle using cold water.
Post-wash:
Very happy with the results. Everything came out nice and bright. There is no hint of the chocolate or blood stains. The unknown red mark on the tanktop is still there.
Conclusion:
I recommend this product. Over all it did a great job and I like that you can also use it as a pre-wash soak.
Other notes on product:
The power does have a strong smell that I found stuck to my hands after scooping the power. Washing my hands did get rid of the smell and there is no trace of it on the washed clothes.

I use the Pre-Treater on two items
- White shorts that had dark marks on the hips from a bag rubbing against them while I was out walking. The markings have been on the shorts for just over a week.
- A sleeping top with a small stain from spilled Carnation Breakfast Essentials Powder Drink Mix in Chocolate. The stain is from a few weeks ago and the top had already been through the laundry once.
Pre-wash:
I applied the foam to both items of clothing about an hour before washing.
The foam pump was easy to use and came out right where I wanted with no excess splash. I applied directly on the the stains and for the shorts I rubbed it in with my hand and for the top I rubbed it against itself.
Washing:
Washing was done on two cycle mode with the first cycle, along with detergent using warm water and the second cycle using cold water.
Post-wash:
- Shorts came out almost perfectly clean. There is still a bit of marking if you look close but over all looks good.
- Sleeping top still has the stain but much lighter so less noticeable.
Conclusion:
I recommend this product thought it may take some playing around with to find out how much scrubbing you should do and how long you should let the foam sit on the item.

I found the OxiClean™ MaxForce™ Foam Laundry Pre-Treater at a Lablaws after searching many different stores.

La Roche-Posay Micellar Water leaves my face feeling refreshed.
I love Micellar Water for those nights that I want to do a quick clean and climb into bed. I don’t typically wear a lot of make-up but when I do I also use Micellar Water to take off the make-up then I wash my face for a deeper clean. After receiving the product I tried it sporadically for the first 6 days and then every night for the last 5 days.
It took me a few tries to get the right amount on the cotton pad. The first time I used too much and ended up having to rinse my face as the product was not being fully absorbed and my face was wet and a little tacky. Once I had the amount down I was happy with the results.
What I liked:
It removed all my make-up
Left my oily skin feeling clean and refreshed (I sometimes use it midday on my T-Zone)
That it is Paraben Free
What I don’t like:
It takes longer than other ones I have tried to absorb which results in having to wait a little before applying anything else to my face
The scent, I feel it has a bit of a chemical smell, but only while applying, it doesn’t linger
The price
Conclusion: While I would recommend that others give this product a try it is not one I will purchase. I have another brand that I like more and costs less

I used it when cooking homefries and it gave a gentle saltiness without being too salty. This infusion of herbs and vegetables also added a nice subtle flavour to the meal. I really like that is has no MSG, artificial flavours, additives or preservatives and is Canada Organic Certified. -

I received this sample for free and am glad I didn't pay for it. I did not like the spray; I found it to be too strong and left my mouth with a burning sensation. In all fairness I feel my tongue was totally in the way and that none of the spray reached my throat. I will be keeping the one I got on hand as I think it will work much better for my hubby. I had not used a throat spray before and will probably stick to throat lozenges for myself. -
