I had the Fit Bit flex prior to this purchase. After much research I waited for the release of the Charge 3. The main attraction for me was the improved waterproofing. I like to swim as one of my main sources of exercise. It is nice to be able to customize your activity. I also love the larger screen, it is very easy to scroll through the various functions. It surpassed my expectations especially with the battery life.    -
