This Shu Uemira oil was a very gentle oil cleanser. The oil was very loose and hard to control so I lost some of it through my fingers. Once applied to my face it felt good. Adding water creates a gentle milky foam that feels soft and luxurious. I did not feel like it really cleansed my skin or even removed makeup. I felt like it was too gentle. I did like that it left my skin feeling moisturized and soft and not oily at all. I feel like this would work best as a second step after thoroughly cleaning my face first. It has a nice light floral scent and smelled very clean    -
