Batiste Overnight Deep Cleanse Dry Shampoo

I am usually not a fan of dry shampoo but this one is clearly much better. Won't substitute real shampoo but great for travel or overnight or when you need to wash your hair quickly. The fragrance is pleasant but people who may have sensitivities should be careful. The spray application is the same as typical hair sprays. There is an immediate cooling sensation. How well it works I guess will depend on how greasy your hair is at the time of use. I did not get the deep cleanse feel. However, my hair was good enough I think so washing was no longer needed. -

I've been using Degree Women Black + White Antiperspirant Dry Spray for about a week now. It keeps you feeling fresh and dry all day. I love that it doesnt leave marks on your clothes (I absolutely hate sprays that spoil my outfits). This product claims that it provides 48 hours of sweat and odour protection. I applied it and went for a jog. I definitely had sweat but there was no odour of any kind. I'm definitely going to purchase this again. -

The first thing I noticed was that the toothpaste didn't lather and get all nice and bubbly like normal toothpastes do. You literally have to drag it around your teeth with the toothbrush and it just didn't feel right. It was also gritty and had a horrible texture. My teeth did not feel clean afterwards and there was absolutely no difference in whiteness after an extended period of time. I had no intention of ever buying it again, until I grabbed it by accident at the store. I didn't want it to go to waste so I gave it another try, and still ended up with the same disappointment. I cannot recommend this product. -

I was very excited for this product as it claims to have all natural ingredients. However, my friend who is a dermatologist tested this product under a microscopic glass to find out that the exfoliator particles are not of equal sizes and can do more harm to the skin than benefitting it. Even skin care gurus like Hyram have voted against this product. Never buying this again. -

It adds volume and length to my lashes. I usually go easy on how much makeup I apply. Being heavy handed with makeup, in my opinion, makes a person look much older. *chuckle* 🤭 One coat of this mascara in brown-black is all that is needed to open up my eyes. I use the spoon hack for applying mascara. I believe the trick is in the silicone applicator brush with no clumping. I use the waterproof formula which I discovered is difficult to remove. For that one reason I have to give 4/5 stars. Even CoverGirl Clean Eyes Remover won't take it off, even after a few minutes. I tried baby oil but found it was necessary to use some elbow grease which of course is not gentle on lashes or the delicate eye area. Esteé Lauder Take It Away remover works "instantly." This mascara does not smudge or flake at all. The price is a steal for this excellent quality mascara which might very well be superior to some higher brands. For many years I used lash tube (tubes that cover each lash) mascara. Unfortunately the company that produces it, changed the formula that now makes it a poor quality product. 😑 I believe I'm hooked now on Covergirl LashBlast Mascara. 😁 -

These are the only wipes I'm not allergic to. This scent is not too strong and I'm glad I could find them. Also, the wipes stay moist and are easy to remove from the container. This is an essential item in my house especially during the pandemic.

The first time you try Nutella, it might be with breadsticks or crackers, and when the breadsticks or crackers run out, you move on to a spoon, and realize that the spoon is just slowing you down, so you use your fingers, until the light bulb goes on and you decide to cut out the middle-man and just start using your tongue. The people at the next table look at you like you've escaped from a zoo until they catch sight of the container's label and give you a slow nod because they *understand*. That's called The Nutella Effect. This stuff is cocoa hazelnut flavoured crack in a jar.
It's smooth, rich, creamy and sweet...oh so sweet...sugar-coma-dyin'-happy sweet. And, much like bacon, it tastes good on almost everything: fruit, bread, pretzels, crackers, even bacon (yes, I tried Nutella on bacon and it was life-altering). It's gotten to the point where my family staged an intervention and now my Nutella consumption is strictly monitored. (In terms of significant nutritional value, it contains none. But it tastes really, really good...I think that should count for something.)
