The Vichy Idealia line is targeted to those who may not lead the best lifestyle (lack of sleep, bad eating habits, pollution, smoking, etc.). I have young children so I never sleep, eat too much sugar and don't drink enough water. Being almost 40, my skin has also become dull and lifeless as of late. I have been using this product for not quite a week, but am pleased with the results that I've already experienced. First the positives - this product has a bit of a unique balmy type gel which feels super hydrating and is easy to apply without using too much. The smell is pleasant and not overwhelming (my 4 year old daughter loves to snuggle in and sniff my face when I wear this!) It feels a bit tingly upon first application. In the morning, my skin looks smooth, clear, even toned with increased radiance.
There are only a couple of negatives - I had to really hunt down the product ingredients. They are nowhere listed on the packaging and I couldn't even find them on the Vichy English website. Ridiculous. Although the texture of the cream is lovely, it does leave a tackiness to the skin that lasts a good couple of hours after application.
Overall I am very happy with this product and will likely purchase in the future!

There is no scent, and none of the ingredients anger my sensitive skin. My face feels more plump and hydrated, especially when I use this over a serum containing hylauronuc acid. I only need a small dab for my face. It isn't instantly absorbed, and feels a bit tacky until it does absorb. But once it does, it is brilliant how soft and hydrated my skin feels! Love it! -

I love this stuff on minor cuts and abrasions, chapped lips, taming eyebrows, zits - you name it! The smell is terrible, very medicinal, but I have gotten used to it. It contains salicylic acid so is great for treating inflammation. It is like a glorified Vaseline but definitely more effective than straight up petroleum jelly. One of my favorite tricks is to dab on my cheeks as a highlighter to give a very natural and youthful glow! (Trick from pixiwoo on one of their youtube videos) -

Our favorite is on toast or on waffles with chopped strawberries. There is not really a ton of nutritional value, but tons of sugar, so I try not to keep in the house except for special treats and only when on sale. The kids go ape over it and a large jar lasts a couple of weeks (3 kids and a chocolate addict mom! Thankfully hubs prefers peanut butter...) -

I fell in love with the chic design of the bkr water bottle the first time I laid eyes on it. It is made of glass with a full silicone sleeve that is available in a number of lovely colours. At $28CAD, I could not justify the splurge. Almost a year later I had earned enough points from Perkville for my local yoga studio, which carried these bottles. I knew immediately that I was going to spend my perks on one! The first thing I noticed was how narrow the mouth of the bottle was. I came to terms with not ever being able to use ice cubes with this bottle, but I felt that sacrifice was worth it for the style. Unfortunately another downside of such a narrow opening is that you need an actual bottle brush to properly clean it. Again, another worthwhile sacrifice for style. The straw that broke the camel's back, however, was the poor design of the lid. There is a hard plastic like ring that is used to carry the bottle, and mine cracked and separated from the lid the day after I purchased! I own a Life Factory glass water bottle which I've had for almost a year and it looks as good as the day I bought it! I know how to take care of these water bottles so I would argue the crack was not from mishandling on my part. When I contacted customer service they agreed to ship me a replacement lid, but I needed to pay for shipping, which would have been almost twice the cost of the lid, and really was I going to invest more money into something with an inherent design flaw? I learned my lesson, function over form for this kind of stuff. It will make a lovely vase for a flower or two! Also they deleted my post to their facebook page. Upon further googling, it appears this cap problem is widespread. -

I use this serum every night under my moisturizer (5 drops covers my face). It really helps to plump up the skin, but as it contains hyaluronic acid, it works best under a water based moisturizer. My skin looks incredible in the morning - fine lines are gone, tone is even. If I have any zits, this serum reduces them by morning as well as aids in repairing any spots which have been squeezed. It is very pricy, but worth it for skin over age of 35. I also like that it doesn't contain retinoids so I can use while nursing. -

This is the best purple shampoo I have used to date. I have heavily highlighted platinum hair that is kept totally brass free with this shampoo. It smells so good, is a deep purple hue and I only need to use once every three shampoos. I do need to use one of my other sulfate free shampoos for the first 'poo because my roots don't get as clean as I would like. It can be a bit drying as I run it through the length of my hair, so I follow up with a deep conditioner. -

When I first purchased this, I noticed a huge improvement in my skin. I now realize it was likely because I was not thoroughly cleansing my skin previously. After awhile the effectiveness seemed to diminish and my face began breaking out again. I soak the brush in hydrogen peroxide regularly and replace the brush every few months. I believe Clarisonics in generally are overused - should not used more than a couple of times a week. I began to see broken capillaries on my cheeks and around my nose so I have put it aside for now and have turned to gentler options (incorporating AHAs). The radiance has returned to my skin and I no longer worry about overstressing it. -

These pads contain a mix of glycolic and lactic acids. These are a very gentle way to incorporate acids into a skin care regime. I have fairly sensitive skin and these did not bother me at all. I noticed an improvement in the radiance of my skin immediately and I believe it allows my serums to be absorbed much more effectively. I have been able to give my clairisonic a break which is better for my skin (was getting broken capillaries). -
