I’ve been loving the Birch Babe Coconut Mineral SPF 40; it’s quickly become a staple in my daily skincare routine. The first thing that hits you is the soft, natural coconut scent; it’s subtle and refreshing, unlike many sunscreens with artificial fragrances.
The texture is rich, as expected from a mineral sunscreen, but it melts beautifully into the skin when warmed between your fingers. It provides a hydrated, dewy finish and leaves my skin feeling protected without any irritation so it’s perfect for sensitive skin types.
There’s a slight white cast, typical of mineral sunscreens, but it fades quickly once absorbed. I also love that it’s reef-safe, clean, and Canadian-made, so it aligns with my values of both personal and environmental care.
Even in winter, when the sun feels weaker, I make sure to wear this daily. it’s gentle enough for everyday use while keeping my skin safe from harmful UV rays. Plus, the coconut scent makes applying sunscreen feel like a little mini-vacation, no matter the season!
