Benefit Gimme Brow to the rescue. It applies like a dream and fills out my brows like no powder has ever done. I absolutely love this product and would recommend to anyone.

I arrived at my appointment admittedly full of a few nerves, but Stephy M immediately put me at ease. She was very soothing an open to answering any questions I may have. During the removal process she kept the conversation up which definitely helped to keep my mind off of what was happening down below. She was even able to squeeze in an unscheduled brow wax for me upon completion, you know because I hadn't had quite enough at that point.
5's across the board for this place. It is exsquisitely decorated, clean, easy to find and the staff is outstanding.
Prices are fair too. I was able to get my first brazilian for a mere $35 CAD.
Definitely recommend this place, and if you get Stephy, tell her Jenn from Quebec thanks her tremendously!

So it may be apparent through the title of this review that I recently turned 40. As devastating as it was (insert overreaction here) it motivated me to up my skin care routine and try to rid (or at least diminish) myself of those pesky forehead lines (thank you my darling children) crows feet and smile lines.
I have off and on for many years tried the drug store L'Oreals and Olays but I felt this time I really wanted to invest.
Enter Lancome with it's beautiful packaging and creamy texture.
The day cream has an SPF 15, to protect the money maker from sun damage and is light and airy to wear. The night cream while a bit denser in texture still applies beautifully and your skin does not feel weighed down.
I've been using both products in combination with the line lifting and firming eye cream and lip replumping balm for about two weeks now. I can honestly say I see a visible difference. My skin appears tighter, younger and nourished.
So for quality and effectiveness, I definitely give these products a 5.
Value is a 3 because it is fairly pricey for all four line products, but I am assured that these products should last me several months so I reserve the right to adjust this value at a later date.
Overall, I've had a good experience and would recommend to other woman of my "gasp" age....just kidding 40's the new 30 :)

I purchased this product on a whim and immediate need to exfoliate (a story of a brazilian words but my esthetician assures me this will be important).
I used to love The Body Shop products and just happened to be by one at the time so in I went.
Amongst the many scrub I picked up this coconut exfoliating body scrub tester. It smelt devine and looked like it would perform it's duty to erradicate dead cells from my precious skin. Not to mention the price was right at $22 CAD for an 8.5oz tub.
Excitedly I take my product home eager to test it's magic. The beautiful smell wafted into the shower with me, making me feel exotic and warm,
but when I applied it to my flesh OMG the burn. I was it off quickly and think, maybe it's zone sensitive. Nope the burn is part of my specially selected products charm it would seem.
So i'm providing this review with the following qualifying factors
I would recommend this product to a friend (probably my most sadistic friends first then the nicer ones) because I am not sure if the burning serves a purpose. That is, is it to be expected? Do I have some sort of skin sensitivity that made it feel more intense than the average person would experience? (The fact that I am still using said product because I am that sadistic friend) I Just don't know and therefore feel it's worth a try to anyone interested.
4 start for value, $22 is a reasonable price for the amount you get (i'm just not sure how I feel about paying for my own discomfort)
Quality was a 3 (based on my burning experience, which as discussed maybe be the actual point??!??)
Effectiveness is a 5, it does exfoliate very well. It leaves me with smooth, fresh, coconut smelling skin with a side of intense burn :)
Overall, I continue to use the product, it hasn't caused my skin any long term damage and honestly I love the smell, the results, and over time I believe I have built a tolerance to the burn.
