This is my new HG mascara! I've been using it for around 6 months now, and it is worth every penny! I have tried a lot of the high end mascaras in the past (Diorshow, Lancome, etc..), but in comparison, you get the most bang for your buck with CG's mascara. I apply this after curling my lashes with the Shu Uemura curler (another HG product), and I find that the bristle applicator helps separate my lashes and makes it look full and lush. When applying an additional coat (the second coat about a minute after the first), I feel like there's no need to apply falsies anymore since it gives the same appearance. Absolutely wonderful! and easy on the wallet =) -

St. Ives' Apricot Scrub was recommended to me 6 years ago and I've been using it ever since!! This is definitely one of the most "worth-every-penny" skin care products out there. After using it, my skin always feels so soft and smooth :) I use it at least once a week (usually at night) and wake up in the morning to fresh, glowing, rejuvenated skin. There's 2% salicylic acid which helps to treat and prevent breakouts too. What more can you ask from a $3.99 drugstore exfoliant?? St. Ives rocks!! -

One of the best moisturizers out there! This is a fairly new product but judging from the number of reviews already, it seems like a lot of ChickAdvisor Reviewers have caught on to this wonderful product! It is overall VERY effective for dry skin (my skin is still super dry as a result of Canadian winter...). Within about a week of using it, my skin went from flaky to velvety smooth. I've tried the Minerals one and plan to try the others too (they were on sale @ Walmart for $4.50 each, so I picked up one in each colour....sweet deal!) It smells absolutely fantastic, the soft floral fragrance is not dominating or irritating to my sensitive skin. I would totally recommend this product!! :) -

This is one of my all-time favorite hair care products. I have colour-treated and thus, dry hair, and I've tried many types of moisturizing/restoration cremes over the years, but I always come back to this one. I put this on after I blow-dry my hair and my hair is left with a silky, smooth texture...with great shine! :) It is very lightweight and feels soft (I'm not a big fan of feeling like my hair is full of products and gunk). I started using it after my hairstylist recommended it, and what I great recommendation it was! I would definitely recommend this product! -

I bought this shampoo when it went on sale for 6.99 at Shoppers. I was initially very attracted to the Yes to Carrots line because of their natural ingredients and paraben-free products, so I went out and bought their whole line. I have to say, this shampoo was my least favorite product. My hair felt dry and it stripped the colour of my highlights. The fact that it doesn't foam up makes it even less appealing - I often found myself using double the amount I would ordinarily use for shampoo, and/or even having to use another brand of shampoo afterwards in over to achieve the clean feeling! I would not recommend this product to anyone. -
