Do you love ivory soap? If you answered yes, you will love this perfume. I sadly, do not love ivory soap and do not want to smell like it so this fragrance will not make it into my collection. Here are my observations: the scent is certainly "clean" smelling, very unobtrusive with extremely low projection but decent longevity on me. It is a quite fresh when smelled on paper or in the bottle, but turns to a slightly warm, slightly powdery scent on the skin. Truly the most realistic description I can give is...soap. A bar of white soap. It will probably strip your skin of moisture if you use it, but it was free at the hotel so you still use it.
If you like vibrant, citrusy, or high impact scents you will hate this. If you want to smell like a musky bar of white generic soap you will love this. I wish this was a hit for me, as I have fragrances with many of the listed notes that I love (lotus, vanilla, cashmere woods) Unfortunately the delicious sounding "creamy vanilla and lotus blossom" are nowhere to be found for me. On the dry down it does weirdly smell like "skin" - like you are hugging your friends mom who just did laundry. Who knows. Soap lovers, and animalic musk lovers, come grab this one.
