Soup was pasty, potatoes delicious. Soooo Melted a tsp of bacon fat before adding soup. Then lots of pepper. A large dollop of plain sour cream, then a larger dollop of ready-made onion dip, which added flavor and texture. A dribble of heavy cream...   +

Soup was pasty, potatoes delicious. Soooo
Melted a tsp of bacon fat before adding soup. Then lots of pepper.
A large dollop of plain sour cream, then a larger dollop of ready-made onion dip, which added flavor and texture. A dribble of heavy cream, and then shredded about 1/4 cup of cheddar cheese. Delicious.
A bit of work, but two great lunches for me.    -
