The Dove beauty bar was originally released in 1957 and sold for $1, as opposed to the 10 cent price tag on all other soaps. My family has been purchasing and using and loving this product since 1957. It's gentle enough to use on my sensitive skin and so moisturizing that I don't feel the need to use a moisturizer afterward. The Dove beauty bar is so gentle thag it can even be used to cleanse your face and you don't have to worry about it clogging your pores or it stripping your face of is moisture. I love this product and will continue to buy it for as long as they make it.    -
