Growing up as a child I can remember the one soap my mother would always buy for our household, Ivory. Not only was Ivory affordable for her because she had a household of six kids, but she absolutely loved Ivory and so did I. No matter what store you went to, you could always find it. One of the popular soaps out there. Most if not everyone has heard of or used Ivory.
So when I was given the opportunity to enjoy a few new products from Ivory as they relaunched out here in Canada I was more then thrilled. When my packaged arrived I had a pack of three soap bars, two of the Aloe Body Wash, Lavender Body Wash and Waterlily Body Wash. I was very thrilled. When trying all the body washes out I found my favorite to be the Waterlily Body wash, the scent itself smelled heavenly. All of the bottles of body wash did one thing, made me and my skin feel super smooth and clean once stepping out of the shower and the soap bars, just as I remembered them if not better.

I got the chance to try out Harvey Prince's signature perfume called, Ageless. Right off, I was super excited to get the chance to do this review. I love perfume! Ageless is suppose to make you feel 10-12 years younger and the fact that when I first sprayed this, it immediately reminded me of perfumes I purchased when I was younger I say the guys over at Harvey Prince nailed it.
I noticed a great deal of a floral notes like sweet pea (which I love), then I noticed softer hints of tropical fruit. The mixture of floral and fruity scents did make this seem like a younger type of perfume, not too strong or over powering and it didn't take over a room that I walked in, so again, the people over at Harvey Prince nailed the age-less part. The price for a full bottle is not out of the norm for perfume and I think it is well worth spending on, especially if you’re looking for something to make you feel younger and smell great.

It took me all of two days to read this book and even that was two days too long. If I didn't have work, a household and kids to take care of I would have had this read within hours. I absolutely LOVED this. The characters, the story line, everything. The only part that suck was that now reading it before the book is out I have to wait until next Winter before book number two is released.
The story draws you in by making you love the main character, Gemma, from the beginning. You're intrigued at how dedicated and how much she loves swimming and her love for the water and you love how her romance starts with boy next door, Alex. It wasn't until the middle of the book when I started to like her older sister, Harper. She's a tough cookie and is the backbone to their family. She's like a mother to Gemma since their mom is in a mental institution. In the beginning I thought, "Wow can we get anymore paranoid?" but in the end Harper won me over because all she really wants is to protect her sister and for good reasons. The fact that she started her own little romance in this story helped me like her a bit more too, lol.
There are Sirens (mermaid like) in this story which always wins me over as one of my favorite movies is The Little Mermaid. How Amanda Hocking went in detail as to how the three Sirens came to be gave you enough information to know that they were no good and why they needed and wanted from Gemma.
How book one ended left you with your mouth hanging open, but I guess that was exactly the point because now I'm anxious to read what happens next, I can't wait!

Seriously, this was such a great movie to watch. I love romantic comedies and love Reese Witherspoon even more. From beginning to end the story line went smooth and I loved that Chelsea Handler was in this. She's hilarious as always and I think brings a lot of the comedy out in this movie. Chris Pine and Tom Hardy are just as handsome as ever and I loved that they were both CIA's fighting over a girl's heart. Not only is this a chick-flick, but I actually got my husband to sit down and watch it with me and he enjoyed the movie as well, so it's enjoyable for both you and your spouse. Definitely something I would have purchased if I weren't given this to review. -

When I first got this product, I thought it would be a little bit unnecessary, but then the convenience factor kicked in. I don’t have to wet my hands and then drip water all over a bottle of cleanser, the automatic dispenser allows me to only touch my face when washing. The main thing that I really enjoy is that it dispenses the perfect amount of face wash, which I apparently have been using too much my whole life, and in turn I save money by not having to buy product more often since now I am guaranteed 100 doses each bottle. The face wash is the same as you would expect any Clearasil product to be, I notice a difference in the clearness of my skin. However, my skin has been drying out due to the 2% salicylic acid, but it gets me to moisturize my face like I should anyway. -

Who doesn't love popcorn? I had the opportunity to review some of the products from Kernels Popcorn. I was sent a virtual gift card through an email, printed it out and headed to my local mall where our Kernels Popcorn out here is located. I have to say I found the virtual gift card to be pretty awesome. It's even easier then sending someone a regular gift card because they can get it the same exact day, print it out or have it sent to their smart phone where the staff of Kernels Popcorn can scan it and you can get your goodies.
We love spicy food around here, so the hubby and I decided to get two things of their Buffalo Wings Popcorn and for the kids we got them Sassy Salt and Vinegar. This was our first time tasting the Buffalo Wings Seasoning and let me tell you, it's not too spicy and gives just the right amount of kick to the popcorn. We ate ours up that day and wanted more. Luckily we had enough on our gift card to pick three seasoning jars and of course we got the Buffalo Wings, Oh Canadian Cheddar and Dill-irious. We've tried the Oh Canadian Cheddar before and all of us loved it, this was our first time getting the Dill-irious and the kids couldn't stop eating it. I love the fact that you can spruce up popcorn and Kernels makes it easy for you with these delicious seasonings.

After reading Among Others I had to sit back for a moment and decide if I really liked it. I thoroughly enjoy a book that makes you wonder. In all fairness, at the end of the first diary entry we are told that this isn’t a nice story or an easy story…I have to say, she proved that to be true.
The tragedy in the story is downplayed by Mori who you only love little by little. After my moment of reflection, I decided this story was brilliant mostly because you are supposed to love Mori little by little. She is candid and earthy and damaged more than just physically. She understands her physical damage but not her emotional damage. I think the magic was a beautiful distraction to the emotional healing that was going on.
I could say this is a magical coming of age story but that would be wrong [in my opinion]. It’s a story of coping, healing and magic. It’s a story about life and no matter the tragedy even something as simple as reading can hold you to it long enough for time and friendships and love to make you want to hold onto it. It is a fairy story. It isn’t nice or easy but it is thought provoking.
I would definitely recommend Among Others.

Wow. Oh my word, this is such a good book and I can't wait and hope there will be more installments of this story. There has to be! I was drawn to it from the beginning and could not put it down for anything. Definitely a story that keeps you in suspense and guessing what's to come and always wanting more.
I've been drawn to the paranormal stories before regarding vampires, werewolves, etc., but mermaids!?! I love how unique this story is. I don't think I've ever read a book regarding mermaids. Learning about the under water world of Syrena was just the tip of why I loved this story so much.
I think Anna did an amazing job on the main characters Galen and Emma and how their relationship starts off far from perfect. She keeps you guessing whether or not they end up together. She also made it so easy for me to visualize not only what the characters looked like, but where they were. Her detailed creativity bringing Syrena to life in this story is brilliant.
If you're looking for a new book to read, this is definitely it. You'll find yourself sitting up in bed at 1am in the morning just to finish the next chapter and wanting to read more. If I could I'd give Of Poseidon five out of five stars.
