My hair has always been dried, damaged and I am always looking for the next best thing when it comes to rehydrating my hair.
Chick Advisor kindly provided me with this in exchange for my honest review. I haven't had much luck with moisturizing shampoos, conditioners yes but not so much shampoos so I went into this with an open mind but honestly I wasn't too optimistic.
This shampoo smells awesome, the scent isn't too strong and it suds up awesomely. As for the results? My dry hair seemed to drink it up which is usually how it reacts to conditioner but it felt like my hair absorbed this shampoo nicely and I was left with fewer fly aways and smoother, softer hair after. If you're looking for something new for dry, damaged hair: give this a try. It's super affordable and if you're like me it'll become your new fave!

Whenever I've gone to the salon, my hair always feels amazing afterwards: light, soft...perfect. My wallet also feels lighter afterwards which is why I am so glad this line of products had the results they did!
Chick Advisor sent me this line in exchange for my honest reviews and I was extremely impressed and so was my budget. After using this line of moisturizing shampoo, conditioner and leave in conditioning spray, my hair feels the closest to salon quality that I've ever been able to replicate at home.
I know salons will sell you what they use to replicate that fresh, moisturized feeling at home but now that I know I can get it for a fraction of the price? This line is a lifesaver!
The deep conditioning has helped to minimize fly aways and my hair feels like I've just spent a fortune.

I think at this point I have tried all of the products from the Vaseline brand. The brand has been a go to for my family for my entire life so that familiarity has made it so that I find myself always wanting to try their newest products.
My only reason for not giving this a perfect 5 rating is because my dry skin needed several applications. I tried it the lazy way, applying a lot at once but it didn't absorb fully. So the best way for me personally to use this product is to apply a thin layer and the reapply after its absorbed. I don't always have time to do that but aside from that the performance was great.
This lotion smells great, a nice and light natural smell, gender neutral and it didn't interfere with my daily perfume. I've also tried Vaseline lotion available in a spray bottle and found the application mess free and the absorption was fantastic! Overall the results this lotion produces were exactly what I wanted and needed. It seems crazy to think that some households have never tried products from the Vaseline brand but if you haven't, I guarantee someone in your household could use this and benefit from it. Pick this up at any Shopper's Drug Mart, Walmart or grocery store.

I find it hard to imagine someone that has never tried Vaseline. It was a staple in our household growing up, there are so many uses for it for all ages, all genders. I've always found it to have a slight smell that I'm not too fond of, one that is instantly recognizable. Vaseline has come out with scented petroleum over the years, my personal favorite is the cocoa butter products because of the smell.
Moving back to this product, the range of uses are wide. I have used it on my cracked elbows, around my hairline when dying my hair at home to prevent my skin from staining, all over my face as I sleep (which does feel heavier even in the thinnest layers, however I've read people praise it as a beauty tip), a thin layer over tattoos to keep the appearance up and as then best lip gloss you will ever use!
When using it as a lip gloss, a little goes a very long way, too much will leave a tacky feel and appearance and overall it will be too gooey and messy. Vaseline has banked on this use by releasing tinted, scented tins of their petroleum that're marketed as lip gloss. They have also come out with tiny, mini jars of their petroleum jelly that are also scented meant to be used as lip balm.
I'm guilty of collecting these, the packages and the scents drew me in... I'm a sucker for packing and marketing gimmicks. The best advice I can give?
But a large jar of their plain old Vaseline petroleum jelly, you'll be able to get SO many uses out of that one jar! If you want to use it as a lip balm/gloss (which I highly recommend) have a pot/container near by and out a little in and add your own scent and tint it if you wish to. This is a product that every household should have in their home, everyone, people of all ages have a use for this and it's something we always make sure to keep on hand!

I want to start by saying thank you to Chick Advisor for sending me an FPC (Free Product Coupon) to try this for free in exchange for my review. I have the dryest skin and I'm always always looking for new skincare products! Nivea has been a brand that my family has used for years. I was honestly so impressed by the size of this jar, it's affordable because it comes in such a generously sized jar it will last me awhile. It smells awesome, not too strong and my boyfriend has taken to using it as well because it isn't a gender specific scent. It seems to have improved the appearance of stretch marks and does not bother my keratosis pilaris. I've been bothered by dry elbows and this just sinks right in, it's also conditioned my tattoos nicely which is a bonus. I've also used a thin layer under my makeup as I like to experiment with facial skincare as well and it doesn't feel greasy at all, very light and my makeup has sat fine on top of it.
This is going to be a life saver in the winter months, I likely will still have this jar by then because it's such a decent size but if not, I'll be stocking up!

I've tried a ton of leave in conditioning sprays and I've always had the same issue: they feel heavy and weigh my hair down. The best way I can explain it is after I use the smallest amount, my hair is left feeling like it has a residue coating it, sometimes to the point of leaving it feeling stringy.
With that being said, I started out with a few sprays, I wanted to start out with a very small amount and work up to what I needed. With the small amount there was none of that residue feeling I was used to before. Skeptical but cautious I tried a few more sprays (I have longer hair) with awesome results. My hair drank this up and it felt light but moisturized, no heavy feeling and no stringy texture.
Based on past experiences with similar products, this outcome was the last thing I expected, I went into this trying to be optimistic but expecting another heavy conditioner that would leave residue and leave my hair feeling like I needed to wash it again. Not at all. I do reccomend using this on towel dry hair, i prefer to do that and after years of heat damage I avoid the blow dryer and I use this spray when my hair is towel dried/ air dries enough so that it's just damp. I know I'll run out of this because I'm reaching for it everyday, but I also know it's affordable to replace and available at Shopper's Drug Mart and Walmart to name a few places. Got2B has thoroughly impressed me again. I received this for free in exchange for my honest review & when I do eventually run out of it air will be restocking. I always want to have this on hand because it has become my go to mousse! The scent is awesome although strong at first it does taper off and throughout the day was not too overpowering. Now let's talk results! The volume it gave my hair! Man, did it ever give my hair that bombshell lift I'm always after. I have long but thin hair, I used a toonie sized dollop of product working it into my roots and scrunching for a boost, and boy did it boost!
It left me with awesome volume without that stiff and crunchy feeling I've experienced from other mousse products I've tried. And fall flat during the day? Nope! I work outside a lot and this mousse really impressed me with its staying power during humid days! This entire line has given me salon results for a seriously affordable price and I just can't beat the confidence boost it's given me by making my thin hair have that oomph I'm always after! If you're looking for a reasonably priced volumizing mousse that will give your hair that bombshell volume while taming a bit of frizz, stop looking! Grab a can of this mousse available at Walmart, Shoppers Drug Mart and various grocery stores, if you're like me it'll become your new go to every morning and a must have in your hair care routine!

I've been using this oil for approximately 2 weeks, my dry skin really drinks it up when I apply it after I shower which has impressed me. I've tried products that just somehow sit on my skin without absorbing, this winter one of them because I have noticed that it absorbs and it absorbs fast!
That being said, I don't honestly seem to notice a difference in the appearance of my skin or the flaws such as stretch marks. I rated this In the middle because I do believe with more time that I'll see a difference. So my pros? Absorbs fast and doesn't feel greasy although it should be a safe assumption because this is an oil that it could stain any fabric it comes into contact with so make sure it's fully absorbed before you get dressed! My cons? I haven't really seen what I would call noticeable results yet and I wasn't crazy about the scent, I can't explain it, it's almost a light nutty scent. Not traditionally female in the sense of having a floral scent and not what I would say is traditionally masculine with a musk scent, so the scent is gender neutral and not overpowering, I personally am on the fence with the smell and kind of lean towards not caring for it. The scent wasn't strong enough to clash with my perfumes though so I suppose that's a bonus.
Time will tell if I get results from this so although it hasn't wowed me yet, it hasn't been a total flop and I'm still holding out with hope and patience to see results.
The scent isn't as strong as I found bio oil to be, I think I had results faster with Bio Oil though!
The bottle size is very generous and a little God a long way so the bottle will last you awhile? If you're in the market for a body oil and maybe even if you've tried Bio Oil before and youre looking for a new product to add to your skin care routine, take a chance on this, I've been reading glowing reviews from fellow chicks so I'll keep using this to see if I get results.
