I love the concept behind E.L.F., that beauty products shouldn't cost an arm and a leg. The cosmetic brush sets from ELF are a great example. They're super inexpensive (I think my set of 5 brushes and carry case was under $5), and I've found the quality to be equal to brushes costing $30 or more. Soft, but sturdy bristles hold the shadows beautifully until you apply it, and the control you get in creating your look is great.
I always feel like a model when I use the brushes; or at least like I know what I'm doing! Haha

But, it works so well! After the very first use, I saw fewer blackheads, and my skin felt so soft and supple, I felt 10 years younger!
It rinses off easily with warm water, and has a great orange smell.
I'm hooked.

Julep polishes are great! I've been using them for a couple years now, and I've been really happy with the product. The choice of colours is amazing, and the fact that they're 4 & 5 free (of nasty chemicals) makes them even better. First coat coverage isn't as great as with some polish brands, but since I typically use 3 coats anyhow, that's not an issue for me. The prices are a little steep (avg $14 for a single bottle), but if you take advantage of the frequent special offers, you can get a terrific deal.
For the beauty queen with a love of pretty nails, you should do yourself a favour and try Julep for yourself.

COVERGIRL LashBlast Volume Mascara
I'm not blessed with super thick eyelashes, but with a tube of Covergirl's Lashblast, no one needs to know that! Mascara goes on thick but not clumpy, and really makes your lashes stand out. My only issue is that now, I need to curl my eyelashes... +

My only issue is that now, I need to curl my eyelashes, or it looks wrong to have such pretty lashes!

I had a basic pedicure, and it was incredible! A little foot massage, scrub, buff and some polish, and I had beautiful summer tootsies!
$60 for the pedi, and worth every penny!
