I'm a big mascara fan, it's just about the only makeup I wear every day, so I was excited to try this. The tube itself is big and easy to grip, and it definitely lives up to the name! It was easy to apply with a big brush that worked well for my eyes. It didn't clump at all, and left my lashes looking long without looking overdone. The formula is smooth and the brush is great to reach all through my eyelashes. This mascara definitely makes my list!

We eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, but with a small household and Costco-sized produce, having a better way to store things is definitely a plus. I picked this up at London Drugs (where it's also on sale!) in the medium size (1.5L, it's bigger than it looks!).
The first thing I tried was bagged salad - I find it goes bad quickly when in the bag. After a few days in the FreshBooks box, the lettuce was still crispy and no brown spots, definitely a plus. I also liked that's it's easy to store in the fridge and frees up some space.

I was hesitant to try dry shampoo at first - I have dark brown hair (no white spray, please!), and thick curly hair, so I thought I was destined to live without the convenience of dry shampoo that my fair haired sisters enjoyed. I was lucky to #TryBatiste from the crew at ChickAdvisors where I #gotitfree - what better chance to put this to the test?
I got the Brunette version - let me tell you, this alone was already scoring some points for me. After a lazy Sunday morning, and a run, I needed to freshen up, but didn't want to wash my hair *again* (it takes forever to dry, thick haired girls, you know what I mean), so I pulled out my Batiste and gave it a try! First, the smell - a light vanilla that smells so nice (no chemically smells), and bursts of spray (rather than a wide-spraying mist, so no mess!). I sprayed a few sprays at my roots, and shook it out, combing through with my fingers (it's light, and not sticky). It freshened up my look, and even helped decrease the frizz. Bonus points: covers those pesky gray hairs that keep popping up :)
While I was hesitant at first, I'm definitely a fan. Lazy Sundays, busy Mondays, and everything in between!

The unscented is a huge benefit, no gross overly-flowery hairspray scent, and it held my curls in place all day and through the night. I don't use hairspray often, but for those special occasions where my hair needs to stay in place, while still looking natural with movement, I'd gladly pick this up again. -

Start with the travel size ($8 or so), if you wanted to see how it works for you without committing - it's pricy for the full size, but for me, 100% worth it. My lashes looked great - no clumping and not over the top. Appropriate for every day, they looked long, defined, and almost "fluffy" for lack of a better word. The best word: amazing, if I do say so myself :) Definitely recommend! -

I have thick, curly hair, and I'm always on the hunt for new products that will keep my curls looking great. I'm a big Dove fan (their moisturizing conditioner is a fave), and you can't beat the price point on this one! I used the cream after a shower, on damp hair. The cream smelled nice, and has an oil-cream texture to it. I found it's best for those days I'm tying my hair up in a bun, to keep frizz down, and because of it's lighter hold, I wouldn't use it alone on those full curl look days. I also like it for those lazy Sundays when I want my hair to look nice, without fussing over being too polished. -
