I have never tried a lotion makeup remover. I thought this would be more like a soap you put on your face and wash off with water. However, with this you apply to your face and wipe off with a cotton ball/pad. I find it left my skin feeling very soft and no irritants when it got close to my eyes. -

I liked this product in that it wasn't very fragrant. However I don't know how effective they are at removing makeup as they don't seem to have a lot of product on the wipe. More for an after the gym wipe down, but not much more.

I thought about buying dollar store brand Q-tips and man were they horrible. Not only were they not sturdy enough, but the cotton actually came off the tip. I went back to these Q-tips and I would never go back! They are sturdy, can clean well and can hold product well (eye shadow). They are also great when you need to remove those little bits of stuck on mascara or eye liner. With a quick splash of water and a pinch you can point the tip even to get a more accurate line. -

And it wasn't a loaded mascara, it was just a normal one, which other products have removed effectively. It also left a lot of oil on my eyes and would feel almost like there should be no makeup left. But I would go in with a different product to remove the left overs. Not impressed at all! -

I also liked that it didn't burn after, as sometimes they do. A very mild scrub that could be used multiple times a week if wanted without damaging your skin. -

I really liked the cleansing gel. It didn't have much of a smell which is really nice as I find some of them very overpowering. I was also effective in lathering up and providing a nice clean feeling when removed.
