I have been the proud owner of 4 different Fitbit trackers, before I discovered and fell in love with all things Garmin!
Now, I can’t believe I ever waisted money on a Fitbit.
The vívosmart 3 is a far superior product to the newest Fitbit model. From design, to comfort, to durability, features and especially quality, it is no wonder that Garmin is the most favoured fitness tracker for professional athletes and artist alike!
It's tracking capabilities include steps, floors climbed, calories burned, intensity minutes, distance, heart rate as well as stress level, sleep patterns, and more. As well, Move IQ™ automatically detects exercises such as walking, swimming, cycling and elliptical training. It can also automatically start a timed walk or run activity. So you’re free to get up, get moving, and let vívosmart 3 capture your active life.
The vívosmart 3 tracks heart rate variability (HRV), which is used to calculate and display your stress level. You can look at this graph right on your device anytime you’re sitting or at rest. When the level starts to move up, it indicates that your stress is getting higher and come equipped with a customisable relaxation-based breathing timer. When you start a strength training activity on vívosmart 3, the device will capture your exercises, reps and sets along with your work and rest times so you can leave the notebook at home! Yay!
To help keep up with your busy lifestyle, you can view emails, text messages and social network notifications right on your wrist, and it even lets you synchronize multiple activity trackers. The ability to find your phone, answer and hang up phone calls and wirelessly start and stop and select music on your phone or other device is available right there on your wrist.
As a life guard, I can assure you that it is safe for swimming both in the lake or in a pool as well as in the shower or bath. As a professional dancer, I know how difficult it is not to ruin the watch faces with scratches and scuffs, however the vívosmart 3 has a thin but extremely durable layer of silicone protecting the watch face from exactly that!
In other words- next time your Fitbit craps out do yourself a favour and switch to Garmin!

The Divacup is one of a thousand menstrual cup types & brands that are produced these days. The first Divacup model (Size 1) is specifically for women who have not had a child, teenagers (who already use tampons), and women who are under the age of 30 years old- which is all clearly stated on the packaging!
Before we get too technical though, let just talk about the elephant in the room… YEP- this is indeed a silicone cup to catch your menstrual blood. There is no nice way to put that. Kind of like a tampon is a weird spongy tube that soaks up your menstrual blood. But they are both SO MUCH MORE than that! Now I have many friends who are tried and true believers in traditional tampons, and that’s great! I don’t judge anyone- if it works for you, sweet! However, in my opinion they are just bad for you! Getting your period is although somewhat unpleasant, a very natural thing, and well, the crap tampons are made of is anything but natural. However, this is very much besides the point!
Back to the mysterious Divacup… The first thing you might wonder about as you contemplate weather you are intrigued or thoroughly grossed out, is how it actually works.
Here is how: the cup creates a seal with the walls of your vagina and catches your flow. The Diva Cup is made of high quality silicone. It does not contain chlorine, dyes, colorings or additives. It is also scent-free and stays scent-free during and after use, which we cant say about pads.
Next Question- Is it difficult to insert the diva cup? Not one bit but there is a learning curve. You may not figure it out the first time. Or the second time. It may take months before you get into a rhythm. I suggest getting a feel for down there. Yes, literally. Your fingers will need to go inside of your vagina. You have to be very comfortable with your body to do this. Don’t beat yourself up if this isn’t easy. Stay relaxed and be patient with yourself.
Is inserting the diva cup painful? No. If it’s painful, that means you have inserted it incorrectly. I find inserting tampons far more painful and uncomfortable than inserting a menstrual cup. If at any time, you find inserting or removing the cup to be painful, STOP and try again. If it continues to be painful, you should discontinue use and speak with your doctor.
Now for the big question: how is removal? it seems nasty… A lot of women may freak out at the sight of their menstrual blood in a cup, but again that is a case by case issue. he removal is actually easier than you think. Grabbing the bottom of it and gently squeezing it can relieve the Diva Cup’s suction. From there, you pull down and gently tilt the Diva Cup’s bottom toward the ground. Discard, rinse and reuse! I will say this…removal can be challenging in public restrooms. Keep in mind that the outside of the cup does NOT have menstrual flow on it. You shouldn’t get blood on your fingers at all.
To recap, I think that this product is a wonderful alternative to using tampons and pads. It is something you need to get used to, and practice at but in the long run it should not be painful or uncomfortable or unsanitary. It is extreamly cost effect, environmentally conscious, and a brilliant option for 1000s of women around the world. How do you know if its for you?- my best advice would be to try it out and see first hand!

Do be careful if you have oily hair... I think it is more for people with dry vs oily hair just as FYI. My hair is very oily closer to my scalp, and very dry towards my ends, so I spray the product on my brush and brush the lower end of my hair. All in all this shine spray delivers as expected. It's not too heavy for my hair and imparts nice shine. The only thing is that you can most certainly find similar products for a significantly more affordable price that give the same effect.

I am a young 22-year-old woman, who works in the Canadian Film and Theatre Industry, so I am always on the hunt for a the latest & greatest makeup products to stay current. Although this is not a new product anymore, I just can’t get enough of it! I consider this mascara to be the no-fuss waterproof alternative to falsies! It adds definition, thickness and length without looking weirdly clumpy. I do tend to favor a slight “spidery” look, as it is quite dramatic and easier to see from a distance, so if you can’t get on board with that- this might not be the mascara for you. The wand itself, is quite unique, so much so that I have taken to keeping the old ones and disinfecting them and using them to apply other mascaras too! I just love the way it flawlessly can produce that thick dramatic web!! One full sized tube, usually lasts me two months, and I have the mini or travel sized tube in every one of my purses! It really can make all the difference if you are pressed for time! -

I am a young 22-year-old woman, who pays a substantial amount; upwards of $700, every 6 months to get my teeth professionally zoom whitened. As a triple threat in the Canadian Film and Theatre Industry, it is imperative that my appearance is camera ready as often as possible. I don’t go anywhere without my Sonicare Diamond Clean Black Edition toothbrush, it is a vital part of my daily routine. I have tried over 13 different “high tech” and “top brand” Electric toothbrushes, and nothing even comes close to my Sonicare, including Oral B. From the ever so standard “cleaning” setting, the Sonicare spans so much further offering settings specifically targeting “gums” “whitening” “polish” and even a “sensitive” setting for days your teeth are feeling raw. The heads are replaceable (I would advise using one for no more than a month tops), and although they are not inexpensive, what they lack in cheapness they make up for in quality and effectiveness. I can tell you first hand that I would not be able to maintain my $700 smile without the daily use of my Sonicare Diamond Clean Black Edition toothbrush. -

This product is a spiral brush to separate the eyelashes or eyebrows. The quality was very reasonable, considering I purchased it from Sephora for $16. The bristles were not overly rough or coarse, and proved extremely useful for de-clumping excess mascara while still being easy to clean and. I found it easy to miniplate the handle in my hand, while spreading mascara along the length of my lashes and then of course wrapping my lashes for my always desired dramatic flaire. -
