Nude by Nature Perfecting Primer
I didn't really know what to expect with this primer - I'd never heard of Nude by Nature before! I was really excited when I found out that I was going to be sent a free sample, because I really love trying new brands. And oh, BOY did this ever... +
I didn't really know what to expect with this primer - I'd never heard of Nude by Nature before! I was really excited when I found out that I was going to be sent a free sample, because I really love trying new brands. And oh, BOY did this ever exceed my expectations. On application, it feels very much like a nice moisturizer. It sinks into the skin very quickly, so be aware of that when you're working with it. The scent is lovely and not overpowering, which I really appreciate, as someone who can be sensitive to scents. I wore it all day under my foundation, and it held my makeup in place while also giving me the most natural glow. I'm not sure if it's meant to give a dewy finish, but it does for me. The only complaint I'd have would be that because it sank in so quickly I felt like I had to use quite a lot to cover my face. But that's a very minor detail, and I'm super pleased with the result! Thanks again to ChickAdvisor and Nude by Nature for the free sample - I can't wait to try more of the line! -

Benefit Cosmetics Goof Proof Eyebrow Pencil
I've enjoyed other products from Benefit, but this one wasn't for me. The shape of it is similar to the Anastasia Brow Definer, but the quality is off. After only a few months it dried right up and just started crumbling. Won't be purchasing again.

I watched a couple of reviews on this highlighter on YouTube, and I have to admit, the putty gimmick had me interested right away. I had to go to the store right away to swatch it! And I'm not going to lie, I was hooked right away. The only thing that had me balk a little bit was the price, but I'm so glad I decided to spend the money on it! It's now my go-to highlight for the daytime because of its natural and seamless appearance on the face. Perfectly easy to blend! Only complaint is that it's a little bit difficult to build up, so if I want something more dramatic I either layer something else over it or bypass it entirely. Overall one of my favourites! -
